Week 10: Bengals @ Ravens

Recommended Posts

I’m so sad, I’m a diehard bengals fans and it’s just so depressing to have such a good offense but such a shitty defense and coaching staff. I don’t know why the ownership does nothing about this. The season is now officially over. They had to win this game and both games vs Pittsburgh to even have a chance but letting the ravens come back and walk all over them in the 2nd half is just proof how shitty the coaching and defense is. They should have been trading for defensive players not a running back.  They are officially DONE for the year, I only hope the ownership addresses the lack of defense and coaching in the off season before their high powered offense decides to just say fuck it and ask to be traded.

Before you post something like this again I’d appreciate it if you’d take my $39.99 online course; “Oxcart; The Mysterious Obstacle to NFL Success.”  It’s a masterclass in old timey, aw shucks financial management of a modern billion dollar business.  Lesson number one is entitled, “Do Nothing.  Seriously, Don’t Do Shit”

Ja'Marr Chase now has 981 yards and 10 TDs through 10 games. He is on pace for 1667 tards and 17 TDs.

4-6

Cincinnati: where good players go to have their careers wasted. Same as it ever was.

I've never been so sick watching the stupidity of this team.

Yeah, missed penalties.  Yeah, the refs.  Yeah, all that.

How many times in big situations do they throw or put it in the hands of guys that shouldn't be involved at that moment.
4th and short and lets throw a long ball to Burton instead of going to Chase, Brown, Gesicki or anyone that hasn't been a headcase.

I don't have a problem with the aggressiveness of what I saw tonight, but that was just trying to be cute.

Lou Anarumo.  Yeah you.  Please let me invite you to go fuck yourself, you sorry ass piece of shit coach.
Even had they squeezed out that win, this is not a defense that could be counted on to be consistently stout.
Just sad when considering the firepower of this offense.  Fucking sad.

These coaches need to figure out why this team can’t finish! I mean the stats on some of these guys are insane, and they are 4-6.

The difference between other good teams and this team, there owners are not afraid to make there team even better. They go out and get better depth, even find starters. The bengals always sit back and do nothing while everyone else around them get better. They totally wasted a year that could have been something special.

You are not kidding.  And what will they do to get better next year?  Just draft and hope they get that magic mix of players that will make it their turn to win a Super Bowl.

There is no strategic thinking in this organization.  Just a method that is adhered to come hell or high water.  Works in some areas of life, not in managing an nfl team.

Sell this team now.

It's easy to forget how inept this ownership has been when having a season or two of success over the recent years.
When the team is contending, ownership is on easy street because fans will flock to the stadium and buy all the merch.

However, when there's a down turn (which happens more often than not) the problem is again glaring.
Sadly, ownership hasn't figured out what it is that actually brings fans to the stadium and pro shop.
Field a competitive team, look like you know what you are doing and fucking win.

I think they should all be thanking God every night that Burrow and Chase happenstanced their asses to Cincinnati.
Without those two, this team is more 1990's than 2020's.

I'd rather take my chances with them selling the team to someone else.
We know how this story ends already.
The same way it has every year since 1968.

At least they have consistency on their side...

Yup. I remember back in 1999 some reporter asked Mike how far the team could go, and he answered, "we'll go as far as Akili Smith will take us."

25 years later, the entire strategy and weekly game plan is "we'll go as far as Joe and Ja'Marr will take us."

Nothing ever changes.
