Week 8: Eagles @ Bengals

Recommended Posts

Well got called out to work from some lady irate that her heat didn’t work, but sounds like I didn’t miss much I see. What a frustrating season that had so much hope and excitement. I will blame these coaches on this team who have been awful flat out awful!!

They are wasting Burrows best years, and also just wasted the years of guys they didn’t feel like signing. What a joke this org. is being anymore.

It amazes me what good coaching gets you. I hate KC but they are undefeated with nobody but Pat Mahomes who is having a terrible year. They don’t have the best players, but yet still get it done. Then you have a team like the Lions who have great recievers, but look at what they can do with those RB! Man I wish the Bengals would/could actually run the ball! Might actually help in short yardage issues!!

The bengals coaches have all this talent and somehow makes things worse. Makes no sense to me, what a train wreak

It’s The Family. Ownership in Cincinnati is not going to hire a top-tier coach because said coach is going to cost a bunch (and so will his staff) and will want control.

So like I said in the other thread, sure, fire Zac. I won’t complain. But just be aware the most likely replacement is another guy just like him. We aren’t getting a Billick/Belicheck/Cowher-caliber coach.

Yea that is true Hoosier, that and some piss poor drafting the last couple of years really hurts. They really are not finding those late round gems, and there early picks have sucked so bad. Mims looks pretty good, but man Murphy terrible, been so bad. These drafts have put this team in a big hole since they really don’t go after the big splash in free agency.

Malik and Zim talk about that. One problem is that the Bengals say their strategy is to build through the draft, then balk at playing the young guys. Not to defend Murphy but Hubbard (who was ass today) is still getting more snaps. Why? Burton can’t get on the field and that other TE they drafted can’t get on the game day active list.

Murphy is halfway through his second year and really, I don’t know what to think of him yet. Yet the Bengals will have to decide whether to pick up his option in the first half of 2026. So they got 9 games this season and then next season to see what they got.

You simply can’t have the talent this team does and look this bad. There’s just no excuse.

They aren’t even enjoyable to watch.  I dropped off early to mow the grass. My time was well spent doing something other than watching this team play.

I hate all of our coaches. All of them.

Here’s to hoping they continue to lose in the hopes of burning it all down. I’d be all in for trading Higgins, but he’s been hurt for two seasons now.

The leaves in the yard won’t be gathering this year. Sundays have just opened up !!
