Kelce has slowed noticeably.  Tight end might be one of the most damaging positions in the nfl.  They’re kind of like safeties.  A lot of grinding type contact and also some high speed impact stuff thrown in.  Even Gronk just got tired of being hurt all the time and bailed.  Eifert was the same, constantly dinged up.

Offensive Player of the Year- Chase Triple Crown... next

Defensive Player of the Year- T-Rex led the league in sacks with 17.5... next

Comeback Player of the Year- Burrow coming back off a season ending wrist injury and in the running for MVP... next

Fucked up Shit of 2024- Regardless of the above, the Bengals missed the playoffs.

Yeah, figured. It was a very dense group of top candidates this time, and Willie doesn't quite pass the "leave absolutely zero doubt whatsoever and be irrefutably the best to ever play your position" standard that applies to Cincinnati Bengals players.

I am fairly certain Geno Atkins is going to get shafted too, and with less hope for an eventual stroke of luck than Willie. Hope I'm wrong.

Willie will have to die AND the NFL get called out for leaving him off the remembrance portion of the program in order to reach HOF.

0 votes for Chase is typical of what a lot of former Bengals have had to go through.   Its really unbelievable but typical.   It will be interesting to see how Whitworth and Atkins are treated once up for HOF.

It always seems like a Tim Krumrie or whoever would be playing at a Pro Bowl level in 1986 but not get recognized until 1988.   There's always a lag.  Chase will probably have to be a two time Triple Crown winner to get a vote.

Allen I could see as MVP.   The Bills in the preseason were supposed to take a step back and they got 2nd seed.  Nice year really.  The only hiccup is Allen wasn't first team all pro.  Jackson was.

I really didn't have an issue with any of the award winners and happy for Burrow.

Chase getting zero votes as one of several in history to earn the WR triple crown is just silly.

The media has long had this weird theme of Herbert is equal to or better than Burrow.  That choke job in the playoffs should have put that to rest.
