Driskel's a very similar player to Dalton.  I'm always interested to see if he can take care of the ball, make good decisions, and play with a similar competency, and what difference that makes.  When McCarron did that (he had a much, much better defense to rely on) it worked pretty well, should've won a playoff game if it wasn't for idiots like Burfict and Pac Man, and McCarron's noodle arm is far inferior to Dalton's, or even Driskel's...but having the worst defense in the NFL - no one's wining games here of course right now.

AJ is an amazing player.  He’s also a pretty great human being and teammate.  He rarely comments on his own prowess.

But what he said here is so true.  Just get the ball in his vicinity and he’ll make you look good.  Andy owes him a lot.  Hopefully Driskell can get him the ball.

Driskel is 6'4 and is very mobile.
Those are two things Dalton cannot make claim to.

Am I claiming this is the next Bledsoe -> Brady situation ??  Of course not.
I am interested to see him get the start though.

By interested, I mean watching highlights on YouTube the next day...

Driskel throws a ball with zip  Needs to keep it down and work on placement.

Athletic skill is there.    Not sure if he will show command of the offense scheme like Dalton has recently.

Dalton saves a lot of sacks by knowing where to go quickly.   Driskel will not have the luxury of hesitation.
