TJJackson Posted August 29, 2016 Report Posted August 29, 2016 Lap noted good bull rush by Margus on a deflected pass play, got right into the QBs grill Quote
ShulaSteakhouse Posted August 29, 2016 Report Posted August 29, 2016 This scrub 0-line the Bengals' are running out there are terrible. Get McCarron out of there please. Quote
HoosierCat Posted August 29, 2016 Author Report Posted August 29, 2016 So, about that deep thing... Quote
TJJackson Posted August 29, 2016 Report Posted August 29, 2016 Erickson good KR to the 29 I think that was his first KR Quote
TJJackson Posted August 29, 2016 Report Posted August 29, 2016 Our 3rd string RT doesnt appear to even be moving at the snap Quote
HoosierCat Posted August 29, 2016 Author Report Posted August 29, 2016 Joe Licata: not making the team. Quote
ShulaSteakhouse Posted August 29, 2016 Report Posted August 29, 2016 Extremely poor showing from the bubble/sure-to-be-cut fellas in the 2nd half, except for Erickson. That o-line looks completely lost. Quote

Stripes Posted August 29, 2016 Report Posted August 29, 2016 Wenning and Licata are both brutal. 1 Quote
TJJackson Posted August 29, 2016 Report Posted August 29, 2016 Looking forward to the waiver wire pickup(s) on OL, especially for a C Quote
TJJackson Posted August 29, 2016 Report Posted August 29, 2016 I had heard that they had worked with Westerman at C some, so I am surprised they didn't use him there in this circumstance Quote

TJJackson Posted August 29, 2016 Report Posted August 29, 2016 As bad as the 2nd and 3rd string OL was, I don't think you can really say it was purely Licata and/or Wenning sucking I mean, it looked like GuyChick all over again, over and over again Quote
ArmyBengal Posted August 29, 2016 Report Posted August 29, 2016 How do they cut Erickson ?? Simply no way you get rid of a guy like that. I don't know why they needed confirmation of Peerman's injury, you could see the arm break in the replay. Brutal. Speaking of brutal, any QB not named Dalton or McCarron. VERY happy with the starters. They just need to stay healthy. Can we get a high school team to play against Indy this Thursday ?? Quote
Stripes Posted August 29, 2016 Report Posted August 29, 2016 I think they'd have to be idiots to cut Erickson or Core at this point. It's probably Wright versus Tate for the last spot. I still think Tate has the edge there. Quote
HoosierCat Posted August 29, 2016 Author Report Posted August 29, 2016 Yeah, not a lot to witch about re the first stringers, with the usual caveats that it's preseason, it's the Jags, etc. Erickson has made the roster. Who else on the bubble has done bupkis other than him? Wright, Alford and Kumerow have all been no-shows for the most part. Wright still has PS eligibility, don't know about the other two. But at this point it's Green, Boyd, Core, LaFell, Erickson and I guess Tate, just because of experience. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted August 29, 2016 Report Posted August 29, 2016 Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me to see Wright make it due to special teams contribution and Peerman going down may impact that decision. Then again, the 6th WR is usually inactive, so I can't really say as I could call that last spot. Erickson has been a stud. Talk about taking advantage of opportunities. No all-star type games at seasons end, no combine invite, and kills it. Quote
