I guess the NFL has decided to 'make an example' of Burfict as they appeal was denied and the 3 game suspension stands.

It appears he met with the commissioner, although it was after the appeal and supposedly not about the 'incident'.

He needs to pull a Brady on this one, there is no way that stands up if he fights it.

Sucks but at the same time it's a blessing.   His style probably benefits from missing 3 games due to the missed wear and tear.

Had a business dinner Thurs night with two Pittsburgh are residents/devoted Steeler fans.  

Both wanted to know what I thought of Burfict.  They were acutely aware of how many injuries he inflicted on Steeler players, noting that he knocked out both their number 1 and number 2 running backs.  He's not just in the players' heads, he's in the fans' heads.

Neither one of these guys is a fan of Tomlin.  They both think he talks way too much, and both said they had no idea if he is a good coach because they think having  Ben covers any missteps he may make.

So now Burfict is getting into Twitter fights with DeAngelo Williams. I swear people never learn, it's just getting so annoying anymore.

Yea I read about that.  Williams absolutely can't shut his mouth about anything.  Burfict should in no way engage with that idiot.

Steelers are annoying.    The Bengals failure to consistently beat them is even more annoying. 

Still believe 3 games off for Burfict is not a complete negative.    He throws his body around and offensive players are constantly at his knees.
