I felt that the Bengals were good enough to pull off the victory in Pgh earlier this year.  I also had a horrible feeling about the December game in Cincy.  Everything (and everyone) is pointing to a Bengal loss in the Wildcard round.  I think the Bengals will pull this out.  Not sure how, but I think they come through.  Maybe it's a "McCarron Miracle".  28-17 good guys.  It's time.

Really angry still about the Houston game - this is what the result is, a play-off game vs Pitts without Dalton.

I was admonished for reacting angrily about that result but I feel I am justified in my rantings as this is THE matchup we would have paid to avoid !! It's going to take a Herculean effort with a rookie QB to overcome Pitts and not go Hawaii Five-0 in the playoff stats

Nobody is going to give the Bengals a prayer.  Hopefully they play like a team being disrespected.

The hate is going to be strong.

We'll get a strong dose of the 2005 playoff game storyline, how Pittsburgh owns the Bengals in Cincinnati, and how the Bengals can't win in the playoffs....all week long.

I hope nobody gives them a chance and the Vegas line favors Pittsburgh.

Did I just hear Dalton could be back?

Desperate measures ??  Thought he was seeing specialist on Monday ....rushing him back early seems a reach for the stars and underlines the desperation of needing a play-off win whatever the cost

He sees a specialist tomorrow to get an update.  He still has his cast on.

The dr. check is probably just to see how he's progressed.

I'd give his chances of playing this weekend at about .0000001%

Steelers opened as 2 point favorites.

Don't play into there stupid hands, by fighting before the game, or getting stupid 15 yard penalties, they need to keep there cool. Let them be the stupid ones, be physical and play a clean game. Hopefully that will help give them a chance.

Skunk head was babbling on the pregame show about Dalton being "optimistic" he could play.

I chalk it up to talk to try and keep Pitt guessing a little. If they got the bye, maybe, but now? Nope.

I think Houston/KC gets the first game.  I expect Saturday night or Sunday morning.

Well Elton John proclaimed long ago Saturday night was alright for fighting, so I'm banking on that slot.

If Houston/KC is the early Saturday game (and I agree, I think it will be, neither team has a big national following or represents a big media market) then the night game will be an NFC game.

my bet is 1 pm Sunday.
