HoosierCat Posted September 7, 2015 Report Posted September 7, 2015 Now it counts!MJ back at practice today but still iffy for the game. Carter was working with the DEs. Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted September 7, 2015 Report Posted September 7, 2015 I don't like starting the regular season on the road. Especially the west coast. The Bengals record there isn't too good if memory serves. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted September 7, 2015 Report Posted September 7, 2015 Bengals win this game.Don't ask me why. They just do. Quote

The Bengals record there isn't too good if memory serves. They start on the road almost every year now, it's ridiculous. But if they have to go west this is the best time to do it IMO.Yeah, Army, they should win and the reason is they're a way better team. But we'll see. Quote
Scottishbengal Posted September 7, 2015 Report Posted September 7, 2015 I think Bengals win but don't think it's a walkover, maybe a 28-24 victory Quote
Stripes Posted September 7, 2015 Report Posted September 7, 2015 Aren't the Bengals 0-12 all-time in Oakland? That's still a thing, right? Quote

They are certainly a better team on paper.I just don't have much more than that to go on. Usually I can point to something in particular, but not really here.Maybe their weak o-line vs. our front four ?? I think Carr will have his hands full with our defense. Quote
HoosierCat Posted September 8, 2015 Author Report Posted September 8, 2015 Aren't the Bengals 0-12 all-time in Oakland? That's still a thing, right? Yeah, something like that. This will be Daltons first chance to get a win there. Quote
redsbengalsbucks Posted September 8, 2015 Report Posted September 8, 2015 At least they don't have to start at Baltimore or Pittsburgh. That seems to happen a lot anymore. Keep waiting to have a home game against the Ravens or Stealers, don't remember the last opener like that. Quote
HoosierCat Posted September 8, 2015 Author Report Posted September 8, 2015 FWIW Marvin was asked about the habit of road openers yesterday and pointed to the Reds, who always seem to be playing home games on opening weekend, as the culprit. He said they had opportunities to address it in the past, but that home road openers usually mean getting the final game of the year at home, and he likes that trade off. Quote

When it comes down to the last game of the season, a trip to the playoffs or home field advantage may ride on it. You'll want that one at home for sure, although last seasons home field advantage in the playoffs didn't mean diddly squat. Quote
skyline Posted September 8, 2015 Report Posted September 8, 2015 If they have to play on the West Coast, I'd rather it be in week 1. They have time to prepare and adjust as opposed to it being in the middle of the season sandwiched between two other games. Quote
HoosierCat Posted September 9, 2015 Author Report Posted September 9, 2015 Dunlap not out today at start of practice... Quote
volcom69 Posted September 9, 2015 Report Posted September 9, 2015 Sounds like they don't know why though, maybe he had to take a shit lol. Who knows hopefully all is good with him. Quote
HoosierCat Posted September 9, 2015 Author Report Posted September 9, 2015 Hope so but it looks like he never showed, tho Harvey says he was at the facility earlier in the day. Reggie Nelson left practice early, went inside with a trainer after taking the last few plays off. Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted September 9, 2015 Report Posted September 9, 2015 This game with the Raiders is in the bag guys, Microsoft says so... http://finance.yahoo.com/news/microsoft-engine-predicts-nfl-games-141521168.html Quote
HoosierCat Posted September 9, 2015 Author Report Posted September 9, 2015 Dehner:Safety Reggie Nelson (groin) and defensive lineman Marcus Hardison (knee) both left practice early with injuries and were listed as limited.Oh well. At least MJ practiced. Dunlap was apparently sick. Quote
redsbengalsbucks Posted September 9, 2015 Report Posted September 9, 2015 I like this computer Bengals are the only AFCN team that it likes to win. Quote
WhoDey93285 Posted September 10, 2015 Report Posted September 10, 2015 Hey guys, Back on here for the season. I personally do not have a good feeling about this game. I think it is a game the Bengals should win, but I think they're going to struggle. I think Oakland is an improving team, we've never won in Oakland....just don't feel good about it. Prove me wrong, boys! WHO DEY! Quote

HoosierCat Posted September 10, 2015 Author Report Posted September 10, 2015 Better news on the injury front today, everyone practiced but Hardison, who is still out with a knee injury. Quote
redsbengalsbucks Posted September 11, 2015 Report Posted September 11, 2015 Why is there a banner at the bottom of my screen that advertises Browns tickets? Seems like the wrong targeted audience to me. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted September 11, 2015 Report Posted September 11, 2015 Why is there a banner at the bottom of my screen that advertises Browns tickets? Seems like the wrong targeted audience to me. Because no one in Cleveland wants to see that sorry excuse for a team play on Sundays. They have to reach out to gain fans these day and hope people are stupid enough to not be paying attention to that dumpster fire. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted September 11, 2015 Report Posted September 11, 2015 Glad to see injuries are on the low side of things.I want to see Hardison get snaps though. I think he's going to be good. Quote
princeton Posted September 11, 2015 Report Posted September 11, 2015 Raiders mess with Hue by signing Aldon Smith before the game. nice. Quote
