Stripes Posted December 29, 2013 Report Posted December 29, 2013 Let's make it two years in a row that we knock one of our annoying rivals out of playoff contention. Make them suffer. Quote
HoosierCat Posted December 29, 2013 Report Posted December 29, 2013 And so ends the 2013 regular season. Damn that was fast! I like the Bengals today because really there's no pressure. Worst case scenario is they lose and host a playoff game next Sunday. And best case scenario is pretty much the same thing, as I highly doubt NE is going to lose. So they should be loose. A win would be nice, though! Quote
HoosierCat Posted December 29, 2013 Report Posted December 29, 2013 #Bengals inactives CB Newman, RB Burkhead, OT Hawkinson, DT Still, TEs Gresham and Eifert, WR Whalen#Ravens inactives CB A.Jackson, S Brown, C Jensen, WR Thompson, TE Clark, LB Simon, DT A.JonesThat means 4 #Ravens starters will play after being questionable: Rice (thigh), Dumervil (ankle), T.Smith (thigh) and Gradkowski (knee). gregcook68 Posted December 29, 2013 Report Posted December 29, 2013 Hobbs gave a weather update on the site and he ended the blog with this:"The rain doesn''t figure to alter the Ravens' game plan. They want to go deep early and often to wide receivers Torrey Smith and Jacoby Jones."We need pressure and a professional game out of Kirkpatrick today, or we could end up playing 'catch up' football! If we get that, and no turnovers, I still feel victory is ours! essexjohnson Posted December 29, 2013 Report Posted December 29, 2013 here's hoping we finally erase the bungle label. Take care of the Ravens play the way we are capable of and make a run in the playoffsLets hope special teams can figure it out have not looked remotely serviceable the past 2 weeks Quote
HoosierCat Posted December 29, 2013 Report Posted December 29, 2013 Fk. Boomer and Cowher both took the Bengals. We're gonna lose now. Quote
combatbengal Posted December 29, 2013 Report Posted December 29, 2013 I'm in Vegas with the wife for our anniversary, siting in a Pub getting ready to watch the game. There seems to be more Bengal fans here then in Columbus! Let's go get that win Who Dey. Quote
Stripes Posted December 29, 2013 Author Report Posted December 29, 2013 I am a bit concerned about both tight ends being out. I really have no idea what to expect from the offensive gameplan or from Andy under these circumstances. Quote
TJJackson Posted December 29, 2013 Report Posted December 29, 2013 I am on a conference call that started at 9am over a huge data problem at workGonna try to watch with the audio off :-( Quote
ShulaSteakhouse Posted December 29, 2013 Report Posted December 29, 2013 Stupid pass #1 from Dalton results in turnover... Quote
HoosierCat Posted December 29, 2013 Report Posted December 29, 2013 Jones got both hands on that, has to come down with it. Quote
volcom69 Posted December 29, 2013 Report Posted December 29, 2013 Stupid pass #1 from Dalton results in turnover...I wouldn't call it stupid it was a one on one has to come down with that Quote
Stripes Posted December 29, 2013 Author Report Posted December 29, 2013 Tough ball to catch, and I don't think it was thrown terribly poorly either. Just s**t luck. This challenge should be a good one, so let's hold 'em to 3. Quote
ShulaSteakhouse Posted December 29, 2013 Report Posted December 29, 2013 Jones got both hands on that, has to come down with it.<eye roll> If he isn't open don't throw it, if he catches that it's a highlight reel catch over a defender. Quote
Stripes Posted December 29, 2013 Author Report Posted December 29, 2013 Damn, thought Iloka might pick that. Nice hold though defense. Quote
HoosierCat Posted December 29, 2013 Report Posted December 29, 2013 And there you see why Iloka is not a receiver. Good play tho. Quote
TJJackson Posted December 29, 2013 Report Posted December 29, 2013 so Dalton has already thrown a pick? geez Quote
volcom69 Posted December 29, 2013 Report Posted December 29, 2013 Seems more physical defenses like ravens steelers give Dalton trouble not sure why. Forget that last drive and move on Quote
Stripes Posted December 29, 2013 Author Report Posted December 29, 2013 Seems more physical defenses like ravens steelers give Dalton trouble not sure why. Forget that last drive and move onI think it's more a problem with 3-4s than physicality. Game's barely begun though, we'll see. Quote
TJJackson Posted December 29, 2013 Report Posted December 29, 2013 Law Firm good run for 1st down Quote
Stripes Posted December 29, 2013 Author Report Posted December 29, 2013 Calm down, my poor neck veins. It's just one timeout. Quote
