Kazkal
The offensive playcalling had me wanting to throw bricks at my TV the most of the game.Geno had two sacks and I was happy to see that.Lazy play all game long.L-A-Z-Y, lazy. Can we please cut Tate as well ??I can return punts east to west all day long.I'd do it for $500 bucks a game.Hell, probably less.Ya I'm miffed on how he's still returner ,Sanzenbacher Looked way more Dangerous back there please Marvin >.<
cincyhokie
Honestly, this team is lucky to be 2-2. The Packers game could have easily, easily been a loss last week. The Ravens, the Bengals, and the Browns are all 2-2. At this point, the Ravens still look like the team to beat. Though the window is open for the Bengals, with the Steelers tanking and the Ravens restocking, the Bengals adding weapons, etc...it appears that the BROWNS are the team on the rise!As far as the Bengals go, it all depends on Dalton. With all of the talent on offense and Dalton still playing this inconsistent, it doesn't look good. NE, @Buffalo, and @Detroit coming up. Uh, Dalton better figure out how to be productive pretty damn quick. He's already started losing the fans, and even some of the players look distraught with him. Not good at all. volcom69
Just looking in the last 3 games Green has 17 catches for 138 yards that's 8.1 yards per game, that's not going to cut it.So something is wrong here, they maybe double teaming Green, but there are other threats on this team or are there? Is Sanu and Jones not getting open? What about these two TEs, how about finding a way to get them going? They want to win, how about running the ball Jay? Seriously I feel like maybe Brat has taken this team over again. Dalton is not taking care of the ball, fumbling all over, throwing stupid ints, maybe he should help him out by running it. Start Gio, use BJGE when they have to, use the 2 TE sets, and let Eifert play the slot! All I know is something needs to be fixed, to much talent to waste on this team, and right now there offense is not even close. AJ is so frustrated, and now looking at those numbers I can see why. I bet he wishes he had somebody who could throw the ball deep to him, or at least get it close that he has a chance. combatbengal
We went out and got more weapons, look better on paper but seem to be regressing week by week! I haven't seen any improvement with the offense in four games!! Dalton is still throwing the ball to high or behind his WR's. The Law firm is averaging 2 yards a carry and had a fumble last week. Tate's starting to make those horrible decision that he made last season with returns; I didn't want him on this team. Play calling sucks; 3 and 24 and we run a screen? 4th and 1 and we don't use Peko as a FB! The Brown's have their second string QB and a RB that's been on the team for a week and we couldn't stop them. We barely got by a beat up Packer's team! The Browns were jumping routes all day. The Packers were doing it some last week too. There was only one pass play today that I can remember them getting yards after the catch. The Eifert 30 plus yard catch in the 4th quarter.

I really don't understand this offense or how they are using these 2 TEs. Its so frustrating anymore! I just get tired of watching this offense, that has not changed in 3 years. It was ok for the first 2 years, but at some point it needs to get better!
ArmyBengal
Wasn't Hoyer the 3rd string ??Either way, not good for the Bengals today. On a serious note, the Browns looked better than I have seen them look in years.Have to give them some credit. Weeden should be done.

Looking at pictures of the game he was forcing it to Green, while another receiver was open waiting for the ball. Least Gruden today admitted he tried to throw it to Green to many times. COB
Least Gruden today admitted he tried to throw it to Green to many times.Game planning needs improved. Or the execution. Remember last year's playoff game? Kept throwing it to the tight end even though he was having a horrible game and couldn't do s**t. Did the same thing yesterday, even though the target wasn't open, just kept throwing it.

Just not forcing it to Green would help a lot. This has been going on all year. If AJ is double covered, someone else is open.
volcom69
I just read Laps comments that said he dosnt like AJ Greens body language it sends a bad message to the team. In ways I have to agree, when watching him this weekend, his head was hanging low, he looked like a sad puppy. You could just tell he was frustrated, and upset. HoosierCat
I'm not surprised. Not only was Andy way off Sunday, but Green was getting blanketed by Haden. Even one on one he was not getting away from him a lot.I think that after two seasons teams have mostly got Dalton and Green figured out. There was that quote last week about them always going to the same plays and tells in the crunch. And Goodberry pointed out in his analysis how basic the offense is. What they need to do is open it back up again and give Dalton more opportunities for post-snap reads. But of course the reason they simplified it in the first place was inconsistent pass protection, and I don't think it's any more consistent now.I keep coming back to the run game. Establish a credible threat on the ground and it should do wonders for everyone. I don't think they have any choice but to significantly amp up Bernard's role. Save Green-Ellis for Q4 when he can bang ahead against a tired defensive front.
