ArmyBengal
Onterio McCalebb ??Wasn't that the RB that ran some ridiculous 40 at his proday ??Took the extra 10 seconds to look for myself and yep, he popped off a 4.29 unofficially.Speed kills, but he probably doesn't have a spot anywhere but the practice squad. ArmyBengal
Roy Roundtree, WR, Michigan ??VERY interesting battle for practice squad spots at WR !!!The Bengals are trying to field the practice squad from hell.
ShulaSteakhouse
Like to see the higher ceiling LB pick-ups, wish there were a Center contender somewhere, even a vet FA.

TJJackson
My favorite by far is Jordan CampbellI'll be watching him like I did Burfict last yearruns a sub 4.6 and lifts 38 times? Lordie, I hope he can cover and tackle, cuz I'd like to see that speed and strength out there on Sunday
redsbengalsbucks
I like these three as solid prospects.Sullen G Auburn, lots of starts at a major school and great sizeRoundtree WR Meatchicken, he was a star in the making until the coaches decided to not throw the ball down feild as often, he is big with decent handsDimanche LB S. Ill., this small school kid could be a hybrid LB/SS if he has the wheels to cover anybody at the next level
ArmyBengal
Roundtree is interesting. With the depth we have at WR however, he might be nothing more than playing Larry Fitzgerald on the practice squad.I have zero thoughts of getting the next Burfict and honestly, Burfict was known to be a hell of a talent with issues. Many had him as a first round pick heading into his senior season. That's not the case with most UDFA's. Wraith
I would have thought he fit better as an interior O-Lineman or a Nose Tackle....seems a bit hefty for a WR.In other news PFT is reporting Onterio McCalebb is signing as a CB rather than a RB. I can find no evidence that he played CB even in HS, I guess it is worth the shot to get that kind of speed on the field but it seems likely to not be successful at this level. ArmyBengal
Nope, can't find anything about him playing CB in his whole career to this point.Maybe CB is the only position they could keep him at, but can't see him as anything but a return guy. He's a little light in the ass at 168 lbs. He will have less pressure at the nickel so get the ball in his hands often.

TJJackson
I can just imagine - some 330 pound OT recovers his own teammate's fumble and runs downfield. Onterrio catches him easily and latches on, wrapping his arms around the guy waistThe OT never notices the extra 160 pounds and drags Onterrio 40 yards to the endzone
ArmyBengal
Funny, the other sites never showed he played CB in high school.Either way, I think he has a way to go in order to make this roster at either spot. They probably just figure if there is a best way to get that speed on the field, the CB provides the best opportunity. HoosierCat
I didn't know about the HS thing either but I read someplace this morning (probably a tweet) about him doing CB drills at the combine. Teh google did the rest.
ArmyBengal
Whatever works in trying to put that 4.29 speed to work on the field.Maybe he earns the last CB spot on the roster and then is put on kick returns ??Who knows ??
Sea Ray
His lack of height makes him useless as a CB. His best fit is as a third down back catching screen passes, kinda like a DeShawn Jackson in the backfield. I don't see him making the team now. Has he even signed yet?
