Hey guys I know that I haven't reached the post requirement yet but I thought I would let you know about a new radio station starting next week. The name is FM 100 The Fan and you can find it at 100.3 FM. It's going to be a CBS Sports affiliate and will air personalities such as Jim Rome and Doug Gottlieb along with local sports talk. We'll have some big news to announce on our Facebook and Twitter pages in the very near future and are very excited about some of the community events we have planned. We're excited and feel like it's a great thing for Cincinnati.

Our Facebook and Twitter pages are soon going to be a one click source for all the Cincinnati sports news that you are looking for and I have posted the links below.

I never got attached to it. I think I've outgrown Jim Rome. I always liked the Angry Guys but an annoying habit of Tom Gamble's has gotten on my nerves. Ever notice how he tends to be making a good point and then he interrupts his own sentence to start another and might even interrupt that one as well and after awhile he never said much of anything because he never finished a thought? I'd love to be his producer and play a tape to him sometime and see if he knows just how disjointed he came across

I listened not really because of any joy in listening to any one person talk, but rather, it was simply sports talk.

It was a nice to hear what happened the night before on the way into work and a nice way to wind down on the way home.

Like I said, i'm pretty sure I will get over it.

It just strikes me as rather bizarre to start a sports talk format in January in a town whose two big pro sports are football and baseball. The former is almost finished with its season and the latter won't get started for months. Then at the end of July, when the MLB season is in full swing and the NFL is on the cusp of starting back up...you bail. WTF?
