I've only seen him in two games, but

--3 good punt block plays (1 block and recovery, one tip, and one very-nearly blocked)

--1 excellent special teams tackle on kickoff coverage unit

--physical running late in the Philly game

--physical play on coverage units

Looking forward to seeing more

The thing that jumped out at me when he did start getting carries was how much pop he had in his legs.

Having not gotten any chances during the season certainly provides fresh legs.

I want to see him get some more as well.

I wasn't a fan of the pick either. He's done everything in his power to warrant it thus far though. A running back buried on the depth chart shouldn't be expected to contribute significantly to the running game. So that he has been so useful on special teams is enough to be completely pleased with him.

Agree. Not enamored with the pick but he showed this level is not too big or fast for him. I thought it would be.

WOuld like to see him on some screens or draws on thrid down. Enough of the Leonard show.

I'll say the same thing I said when they drafted him: Herron is strangely effective. He doesn't look like he's really very good at any one thing, yet he ends up being productive while hardly being noticable.

It's amazing how a 7th round pick that's been on the practice squad will play when he finally gets a chance to play. If he didn't give 100% he could have been in street clothes quite soon. Too bad every guy on the team can't play with the same fire.

i said when he gets his chance he will impress the guy is a hell of a player. i look forward to seeing him get more carries. once he gets comfortable in our system look for him to excel.
