ArmyBengal Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 No time to ponder what could have been, but yeah, i'm still frustrated as hell. They have the Thursday night game this week and have to forget that God awful lack of focus yesterday and get ready. This is an Eagles team the Bengals "should" beat. This is also a team the "need" to beat. They simply can't keep hoping other teams will continue to help them out by beating the Steelers. The Steelers head to Dallas, so who knows maybe the Cowboys don't fall on their face.Either way, I want to see the Bengals head into the last two games on a winning note. Quote
walzav29 Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 The bad news is the Eagles will be confident and have nothing to lose. I look for AJ Green to make up for this horrible week, and I think all remnants of the "Glee Club" atmosphere should be gone. It will be close but the Bengals will squeek it out! Quote
cHaD711Johnson Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 I hope that we go on the road and beat a bad team like we should. Expecting a 10-14 point victory. Quote
HoosierCat Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 The Iggles are giddy as schoolgirls over their win yesterday, while the Bengals are spitting nails about being screwed by the refs.I'll go with the Bengals Thursday night. Quote
Earendil Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 They need to take the Eagles behind the woodshed and beat them like Mike Vick beats a dog that peed on his carpet. Quote
volcom69 Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 I'm going to the game on Thursday so there better be a win! Quote

Spor_tees Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 There is absolutely no reason for the Bengals to lose this game. The Eagles are as dysfunctional as the "Different Strokes" cast fighting over an 8-ball of coke. Quote
COB Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 There is absolutely no reason for the Bengals to lose this game. The Eagles are as dysfunctional as the "Different Strokes" cast fighting over an 8-ball of coke.Put your money on Todd Bridges, dude will backstop a whole clip just to score some crack. Quote
COB Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 LMAO. I just checked Bridges Wiki, and he wasn't the one who got shot full of holes. He's the one who shot the other guy multiple times. Johnny Cochran did his mysterious sorcery in court and got him off. Bridges paid society back for the second chance by stabbing some dude in the chest with a kitchen knife. California's judicial system again performed admirably and Bridges walked a second time. Lesson: If you have a little startup business of selling drugs, try not to use Todd Bridges as a customer. He'll just attack you using using deadly force, leave you bleeding on the floor, then he'll use the law and the courts to laugh in your face for the next decade or so. Come to think of it, he's kind of like Mike Brown. Quote
Earendil Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 In Bridges defense, the second guy did come after him with a sword. But I digress. Quote
Spor_tees Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 Is Bridges a free agent or is he still under contract with Tru Tv? Quote
volcom69 Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 This topic goes from the game to, "different strokes", oh my only on bengalszone lol lol! Quote

ArmyBengal Posted December 11, 2012 Author Report Posted December 11, 2012 Didn't the chick off herself after getting strung out on drugs and doing softcore porn ??I think Arnold is dead as well if I remember correctly. All the dysfunction is left for Willis to shoulder. He's doing well.Aaaaanyway, i'm looking forward to the game this Thursday night. It should tell a lot about the makeup of this team. Do they fold it up and call it a season or do they go into Philly and play like the season really is on the line ?? Again, this is "How bad do you want it" time. I want to watch the outcome either way.I want to see this team play hard for the whole game.I want to see the coaches not change the Godd*mned strategy after a quarter or two from something that was working.I want to see us have timeouts in the 4th quarter.I want to see people hold on to the f*cking ball.More than anything, I want to see this team WIN.JUST. F*CKING. WIN !!! GRRRRR AND SH*T !!! Quote
ArmyBengal Posted December 11, 2012 Author Report Posted December 11, 2012 Practice report:IgglesOUT: Celek, PattersonDNP: Vick, McCoyLP: Asomugha, Coleman, Maclin, MathisFP: Allen, Havili, Kendricks, Polk, ReynoldsSome pretty significant names there.Celek stands out to me considering someof the problems the Bengals have had with TE's this season.McCoy is another, but the next guy up has been having some success.Even the guys that are limited could have an impact if they aren't ready by Thursday. Quote
HoosierCat Posted December 12, 2012 Report Posted December 12, 2012 MJ DNP for the second straight day. Looks like he's out for the Iggles game. Ditto Peerman, Kirkpatrick and Nugent.Skuta, Burfict and Maualuga all limited so we have no LBs.Evan Mathis DNP today for Philly. McCoy and Vick aren't expected to play and safety Kurt Coleman is a longshot. Quote
TallCat Posted December 12, 2012 Report Posted December 12, 2012 The Eagles pass attack looked great last week, but that's an illusion. The Bucs pass D is atrocious, their run D s real solid. Philly will regress this week. Foles will have problems and Bryce Brown will be good again. I expect the Bengals to get 4-5 sacks and win this game. WalterFootball.com is calling this game for Philly, but that is a good thing since he basically hasn't picked a Thursday game right yet this year. Quote
HoosierCat Posted December 12, 2012 Report Posted December 12, 2012 The Bengals can win if they do what they didn't do last Sunday: execute. It's really as simple as that. I don't have much hope that the secondary will suddenly start taking the ball away, but the receivers have played better than they did last weekend.Last injury report:OUT: KirkpatrickDOUBTFUL: Nugent, PeermanQUESTIONABLE: MJPROBABLE: Boling, Dunlap, Burfict, Maualuga, Skuta Quote
volcom69 Posted December 13, 2012 Report Posted December 13, 2012 So im going to the game tomorrow night, i hope the eagles fans are not too harsh lol lol.Not a big fan of Thrusday night games, especially since the bengals have to go on the road on a short week. Hope it all works out and they get out with a win, the only nice thing is they have a mini bye week before the steelers to get healthy. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted December 13, 2012 Author Report Posted December 13, 2012 So im going to the game tomorrow night, i hope the eagles fans are not too harsh lol lol.Good luck with that.I've been to Eagles games before and that is a rough crowd. Not physically, but good God.Here's to hoping you bring a winner !!! Quote
volcom69 Posted December 13, 2012 Report Posted December 13, 2012 Hope I bring a winner also. Last time I was at a bengals game it was a great game, but they lost. So I'm so ready to see them win in person. Quote
