Dan2330
Headed out to Cincy for the game this upcoming weekend, had this one circled on my calendar ever since Carson pulled his little b-tch move to get out of Cincy...Anyone else headed to the game, what is the feeling around town right now? kingwilly
I hate quitters. Therefore, I hate Carson.Playing football as a profession is a priveledge, not a right. Carson quit on his teammates, his coaches and the city. He said F this.I have a total of ZERO respect for that behavior. None.I hope they whip Carson badly. I don't even care of they lose the game. Just whip his quitter ass.Edit to add:Maybe they can 'Bo Jackson' him? ie, damage him in a new and unforseen way that people will talk about for decades... volcom69
If the bengals as a team, and coahces are not up for this game for that reason then something is really wrong. Even if they dont want to admit it and im sure they wont, for the players that were here when Carson was im sure its a big week.
TJJackson
Kinda enjoying his season this yeareach loss raises the value of that extra 2nd rounder this yearGrinned big when the game announcer said he had thrown a least one interception in each of the past 6 games

Stripes
I want a victory. I don't give half a f**k how well or poorly Palmer plays. A little vengeance would certainly taste good, but it wouldn't taste as good as 6-5 when we're 1 game out of the playoffs.
Scottishbengal
Maybe they can 'Bo Jackson' him? ie, damage him in a new and unforseen way that people will talk about for decades...i wouldn't advocate such extremes. Carson left, we moved on, we got Dalton, Carson went to Oakland - I reckon we ended up with the better end of the deal.this would have been my first choice game to have come over for this season, just for the "Palmer back in town" element adding extra edge to the game. I want the Bengals to win every game, and i especially want Palmers return to be a comprehensive Bengals victory, but I wouldn't want to see any career ending injury to any player. ArmyBengal
Yep, even for my distaste for his actions, the only thing I want out of this coming game is a "W".That would be enough to stick right in his face. Send him out with yet another "L".
Earendil
I wouldn't want to see any career ending injury to any player. That's pretty much how I feel. Except for Rapistburger. He can break both his legs for all I care.
BengalByTheBay
I'm glad this game came up when it did. The 2 game "win streak" could start to make everybody feel a little too good about themselves. Not to mention the fact that the Chiefs both suck and were really banged up. So, happy to get that win, but not counting it as proving too much. Now Benedict Arnold comes to town (remember "I'll never set foot in Paul Brown Stadium again"?) just in time. I completely agree that the guys who were around a couple of years ago will be using this as motivation. Hell, maybe Geathers gets 3 sacks this week. I never underestimate the emotional value of motivation of this nature on an NFL team. I think it does matter and comes at just the right time. Spor_tees
Any hate mail should be addressed yo Mrs. Palmer. She was the one that wanted the sun and sands of California. Carson's home life must have been a nightmare. I would have probably either gotten a divorce or...well we won't talk about anything illegal. Could you imagine every waking hour of the day being with your wife and her complaining about everything from how s**tty the city is, to how bad the weather is, and how their is no famous people around to hang out with other than the other players' wives? No wonder he played like s**t, he was probably getting more sleep in the locker room than at home. I heard she kicked Jordan out of their house and made him get his own place. If that's true, she is a real bitch. I have known woman like that where they get jealous even if someone spends time with their own family member. My cousin married a woman like that and she made him kick me out of his house after I had just got home from the Marines and was still trying to get settled back in and figure things out. She was a psycho bitch. So yeah, I'm just saying...
HoosierCat
It looks like the Cloud of Cluelessness has descended on Oakland./>http://www.sbreport.net/raider_news/008/10060.htmlWas paging through some Raiders forums over lunch. Where the Chiefs fans are angry, the Raider fans are just depressed. The consensus appears to be that the team has no talent, the coaches suck and the owner (see link above) has no idea what to do. Sea Ray
Let's hope our sorry ass media asks him the real question this weekend:"Carson, you left a playoff team last year to join the Raiders. Your team did not play well down the stretch and ownership fired the coaching staff. This year you're again not a factor in the playoff race and your team is in as much disarray as any in the NFL. Do you regret your decision to force a trade from Cincinnati? Are you better off than you were (as QB of the Bengals)?"

He lives in a foreign country and English is his second language. Personally I applaud him for being a Bengals fan in another country that probably looks at him funny for being an NFL fan in the first place. Secondly I think it is great that he comes here and uses his second language to post and share his thoughts with the rest of us. I am guessing you understood his point despite his grammar not being perfect right? Well that's the most important thing. If you want to argue his point that's fine, but saying that his point isn't valid because of his poor grammar is kind of empty isn't it? "Be kind, please rewind." :cheers:/>
