walzav29
The best way to beat Peyton is with pressure, and TECHNICALLY the defensive line is capable of applying pressure1:00 start with the clock going back it will feel like 11am to the Broncos. They are coming off a Sunday Night Game Bengals are coming off of a bye, after losing 3 straight. It's supposed to be sunny and 50 which is bad for Cincy. There has to be a little bit of a chip. The fans have given up, they were embarrassed on Sunday night. They've lost 2 straight at home. Miracles can happen.
BengalszoneBilly
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Bengals record coming off bye weeks hasn't been that good.
HoosierCat
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Bengals record coming off bye weeks hasn't been that good.Yes and no. Overall under Marvin the Bengals are 3-5-1 coming off the bye. But nearly all those losses came early in his tenure. In his first five seasons, the Bengals only won once coming off the bye. But over the last four years, they are 2-1-1. So the bye week has been good for Cincy lately.
COB
1:00 start with the clock going back it will feel like 11am to the Broncos.Denver's on mountain time, so they are normally two hours behind. The extra hour backwards for the time change dictates it will feel like 10 am to the Broncos. Peyton Manning could be roused from sleep in the middle of the night and still beat this Bengals team. Miracles can happen. We're all Bengals fans here, we're used to hoping for miracles.
ArmyBengal
I am not optimistic about this team, this coach, or anything else associated with them. However, I will be rooting for them to win like I do each and every week they play.Should they win, I will be here singing praises. If not, I will continue my lack of confidence in the team. That's kind of what fans do right ?? Then again, i'm sure someone would question ones fandom... kingwilly
If Peyton jumps out to a lead, its over. Once Denver hits the running game, there wont be any pressure to Manning. For the Bengals to win, they need to get back to the diverse and ballsy offensive scheme in the first 4 weeks. Catching teams off guard. Maybe they go run heavy, with a dinosaur line and just maul. Something has to be different. Now that the Steelers showed the formula to shut down Green and make the other WR's beat you, I expect Denver to do the exact same.
