combatbengal
Ok, you’re the head coach of the Bengals going into this bi-week. What are the 3-5 areas that you’d like to focus on? Keep it positive! My thoughts would be1. Tackling!!2. DB coverage!!3. Offensive plays – our run game doesn’t exist so I’d try to create and throw in more screens, dump offs and QB roll outs.4. Time management. It kills me seeing our off waste so much time between plays.5. Focus on using a FB more often to help open holes for the TB
ArmyBengal
1. Find a way to get pressure on the QB on 3rd downs. Do something because we suck at that more than anyone.2. Find a way to pick up 3rd downs. Do something because we suck at that more than anyone.I could really end it right there.3. Running game suggestions from anyone are welcome. Go heavy more than not ??4. Screen plays to the running backs / quick throws to Hawkins at the line.5. Design plays to get Dalton outside the pocket and arms he keeps throwing the ball into.Trying to keep it positive but:5a. Don't suck... walzav29
Bench Gresham and promote Orson Charles, move Berfict to MLB, and Skuta to his spot, start Jones if healthy or Sanu if Jones isn't at #2. Read a book on how to beat cover 2.
redsbengalsbucks
Use the FB, RB and TE short routes that are suppose to dominate the passing game of a west coast offense more often. Dont give up on the run so easily, 49 yards on the ground during the first drive last game, how many after that? Put in some more complex blitz packages to utilize the talent on the D-line and help the DB's not have to cover as long.Draft a corner and a safety 1 and 2 next draft.Go back in time and sign JJoe to an extended contract and let the other corner go, I dont even like to mention his name anymore. Hope I can win at least 8-9 games every other year so I can keep my job.Get a practice bubble so I dont have to go outside for practice when it is raining, snowing or above 90 degrees.Try to recruit some of the other teams hot cheerleaders so there is some better eye-candy walking around the stadium. COB
Have an honest talk with Katie, Troy, and Mike. Tell them we went out and got a quarterback sort of on the cheap (financially and draft spot wise), and it is sort of working. But to build a Super Bowl team we need a better quarterback. Then scheme to get that guy either this draft, or next, or next. Or back up the truck for one of the great ones if any team lets one get to the last year of his deal. Not likely, so it's draft.Agree to package picks to move up to get a great one even if it seems like you're giving away all your other worthwhile picks. We can have all the AJ Greens and Geno Atkins' we want, but without that big arm back there, we don't seem to be able to go anywhere. Make it a priority, keep your mouth shut about it so we don't get robbed at the bargaining table, and go do it.
Stripes
I'd probably go in hot headed with the mindset that I am qualified, and then burn out before halftime of my first game.

TJJackson
They need to be trying out veteran street FAs at RB, LB, and S every single day, and make sure all the current RBs, LBs, and Ss see these players being trotted in daily
