Scottishbengal
Burfict was limited in practice today with a hammy... :frustrated:Do we still have Chip Morton as the "strength & conditioning" coach? can't see him listed on the staff on the official website. We seem to be picking up a fair amount of conditioning injuries
volcom69
Allen only guy not practicing. It's good to see all the CBs have a full week of practice, now the question is will they play.
cHaD711Johnson
Moch won't be activated. Hopefully, we'll see him next week. He's running a 4.3 these days per Hobson, and he's packed on 12 pounds. I can't wait to see him out there.
ArmyBengal
I figured we wouldn't see Moch this week, but yeah, i'm looking forward to his return.

I think he would be awesome as just a pure pass rusher for now.Reggie Nelson bought everyone on the defense new IPads just to say thank you. What a nice guy, if the defense continues to play team defense the will be much improved I think.
HoosierCat
Sounds like Dalton could have another big day.The Miami Dolphins will likely find themselves thin at cornerback in this Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals, and this couldn't be timed worse considering Cincinnati has the eighth-ranked passing offense in the NFL.And if the Bengals, which are led by Andy Dalton and his stellar 103.0 quarterback rating, decide to regularly use their four receiver package the Dolphins could find themselves in trouble, spread too thin.Richard Marshall has been battling a back injury for two weeks and sat out his third straight practice on Friday. His status for Sunday's game will likely be doubtful.Nolan Carroll, the team’s third best cornerback, will likely replace Marshall as Miami’s starter. But Carroll has been nursing an Achilles injury that’s hindered his play and practice participation all week.Jimmy Wilson, a cornerback Miami converted to safety this offseason, has been forced to switch back because of the team’s need. Wilson, who has contributed three tackles, one pass breakup and one quarterback hit so far this season, occasionally plays in Miami’s nickel, dime and quarters packages. To compensate for all of the injuries the Dolphins promoted cornerback De’Andre Presley from the practice squad, and this college quarterback might be forced to play his first NFL game on Sunday. The Dolphins have one open spot on the 53-man roster and its possibly that they'll promote a linebacker (Josh Kaddu) or defensive back (safety Anderson Russell) to fill the voids on defense. The Dolphins have been working R.J. Stanford into the cornerback mix because of Marshall’s absence, and the unit’s lack of productivity, and it looks like he might have to play on Sunday, if not start.Stanford, whom the Dolphins claimed off the waiver wire last month, started 13 games for the Panthers last season, contributing eight tackles and one interception. The coaches are hoping he could help the unit tighten up.“He has been diligent assignment wise, scheme wise. I think he has made a good contribution so far,” Dolphins coach Joe Philbin said. “Obviously he doesn’t have a lot of reps in the games but I think he’s making progress, picking up the scheme, understanding what we’re asking in the job requirements of the position. I like his development.”Miami’s defense is ranked 30th in passing yards allowed (297.8) per game. The unit has allowing 16 pass plays for 20 yards or more yards in four games. ArmyBengal
The Dolphins secondary is exactly why I predict a win for the Bengals.Their front 7 (ran by Coyle now) is pretty stout, but the Bengals will be able to spread them out and eat them up.Seriously, this could be a big win for them. Scottishbengal
Seriously, this could be a big win for them.I don't know about a big win by points differential but a win would be big. Would love to be able to think Law Firm et al could actually run against Miami but just can't see it, our running game is impotent rather than potent. Having said that our passing game is like an overdose of viagra so I hope/expect a win ....just don't think it'll be by a huge margin. ArmyBengal
Seriously, this could be a big win for them.I don't know about a big win by points differential but a win would be big. Yeah, i'm talking point differential.Sure a win would be big and I expect that to be the case. However, seeing as how we have a renewed pass defense and a secondary that is MUCH healthier, coupled with a Miami defense that is more banged up than ours was last week and I simply don't think there is any way the Dolphins can keep up with what our offense is going to be throwing at them. Literally...
kingwilly
With DB's getting healthy, I look for the Bengals to win this game. Tannehill will be abused by the Dline, and the Dalton gang continues to molest opposing defense.I call it Bengals 35 - Miami 23.
volcom69
Speaking of Donte Moch if you guys get a chance to go on youtube, watch Donte Moch at Ignition training, all i can say is wow. I can not wait for this guy to show his stuff out there, i really think this guy is going to be a huge for this pass rush, and really hope they activate him this week. Scottishbengal
Ok, lets get ready to play ball !! Weather Forecast is good, 10 to 12 degrees C sunny spells with some cloud and a 9mph West/North Westerly wind. Great conditions for a ball game in front of a sold out PBS crowd.CINCINNATI:Allen & Kirkpatrick are Doubtful. Burfict, Clements, Dunlap, Faine, Hall, Scott, Skuta & Whitworth all Probable. Everyone else seems good to go.MIAMI:CB Richard Marshall - Out. Burnett, Bush, Carroll, McDanial, Moore, Solial, Spitler, Tannehill all Probable
Scottishbengal
By the numbers, a quick analysis of todays game:-Bengals pass for an ave 279yds per game, Dolphins allow 297yds passing per game.Bengals rush for an average 110yds per game, Dolphins allow just 56 ypgBengals convert 28% of 3rd downs, Dolphins allow a 29% conversion rateBengals have a -3 turnover ratioDolphins pass for an ave 243yds per game, Bengals allow 235 yds passing per game.Dolphins rush for an average 153yds per game, Bengals allow an average 130 ypgDolphins convert 43% of 3rd downs, Dolphins allow a 32% conversion rateDolphins have a -6 turnover ratioThe Bengals have a slight edge in Passing yardage but with the various receiving options available to Dalton you have to think this is more than just a "slight" edge in real terms. The Dolphins have the edge in rushing and I can't see this stat altering due to this game. The Dolphins also have a fairly sizeable advantage in terms of 3rd down conversions, but the Bengals have the upper hand in not losing the ball as often as the Dolphins have. All in all fairly close, I'll go with the Bengals winning by a TD. volcom69
Clemants starting at safety today, so guess he is making the switch, wonder if will see Crocker at all. Newman starting at other CB spot, I guess Jones will play Nickle.
HoosierCat
Looks like I'm stuck with NYG v. Clowns. Been raining all a.m. in the Meadowlands, apparently so this could get sloppy fast.
kingwilly
I'm really eager to see Marvin Jones get on the field. If Tate does not make some plays, let's see Jones. I believe he is a real deep threat, better than Tate.Key to game today is getting a lead, forcing the Dolphilbins to pass and then crushing the hopes and dreams of the simple Mr. Tannehill (he who cannot name all the NFL teams/divisions/conferences).
