ArmyBengal Posted April 28, 2012 Report Posted April 28, 2012 This is the place to discuss everything there is about who the Bengals are going to draft in the FOURTH round.
ArmyBengal Posted April 28, 2012 Author Report Posted April 28, 2012 We only have one pick in the 4th.Time to package up a 5th or two and move up to grab a RB.Then again, they seem to like Rainey out of Florida and he will probably be there.
volcom69 Posted April 28, 2012 Report Posted April 28, 2012 Yep Rainy, or a RBI could also see new LBs soon also
cincyhokie Posted April 28, 2012 Report Posted April 28, 2012 Mike Mayock giving alot of praise for their draft strategy and results thus far.
derekshank Posted April 28, 2012 Report Posted April 28, 2012 Can't believe Chris Polk and Lamar Miller are still there. The Bengals should trade up and grab one of those guys. Also wouldn't mind drafting Kirk Cousins in the 5th round if he's there. He'd be a great back-up for Dalton.
ArmyBengal Posted April 28, 2012 Author Report Posted April 28, 2012 Thinking about some players still there:MillerPolkMinnefieldJonesChildsMcNuttLewis, OLB, OklahomaGivensCrinerToonCharles, TE, GeorgiaMartin, FS, Oklahoma St.Any of those guys would be just fine by me !!!
skyline Posted April 28, 2012 Report Posted April 28, 2012 I see why everyone is clamoring for a RB, but I'm not sure it's going to happen unless it's someone like Rainey that can fill multiple rolls. Either way, I'm not concerned. Control the trenches and everything else will work itself out

Stripes Posted April 28, 2012 Report Posted April 28, 2012 If the Bengals can land either Polk or Miller in the 4th round, that would be incredible. Miller is starting to look like the guy every year that just plummets inexplicably though, so who knows what's up with him.I'd quite like Ronnell Lewis, OLB, Oklahoma. I agree with Derek too that backup QB should be considered among our rounds 4-7 priorities and Cousins would be a good candidate.

Something to control the clock with.I think they believe BJGE can give them that. He's great in 3rd and short/goal line situations. They still haven't given up on Scott, and I don't think they want to send Leonard packing unless they've given up on him durability-wise.

BJGE, Scott,Leanord, not sure they are looking for a RB. If so who do they get rid of Scott, im thinking they want to give him more touches this year. They can not get rid of Leanord he is too good for them on 3rd down, so yea im not sure they are looking at RB either.
TJJackson Posted April 28, 2012 Report Posted April 28, 2012 Our QB3 is fine and needs time to develop - no need to take a QB at allOLB, RB, or S hereAlthough for some odd reason I have a nasty aversion to RBs named Chris....I'd be fine with Polk at this spot
Stripes Posted April 28, 2012 Report Posted April 28, 2012 Ernest Shazor! Got to get him!I'm partial to Ko Simpson.
cincyhokie Posted April 28, 2012 Report Posted April 28, 2012 Ernest Shazor! Got to get him!I'm partial to Ko Simpson.Another good one!
cHaD711Johnson Posted April 28, 2012 Report Posted April 28, 2012 Those two names . I remember the Leonard Pope craze too..Sounds like Chris Polk has shoulder issues as well that's why he's still out there. Teams fearing that it may be a degenerative shoulder.
derekshank Posted April 28, 2012 Report Posted April 28, 2012 Guys I like for Saturday:QB: Kirk CousinsRB: Chris Polk, Lamar Miller, Cyrus Gray, Chris RaineyWR: Marvin Jones, Marvin McNuttTE: Ladarius Green, Orson CharlesFB: Evan RodriguezDE: Billy WinnLB: James-Michael Johnson, Terrell Manning, Audie ColeCB: Brandon BoykinS: Markelle Martin, George Iloka
ArmyBengal Posted April 28, 2012 Author Report Posted April 28, 2012 Wasn't it the "Shazor Train" ??Yeah, funny sh*t right there !!!
kingwilly Posted April 28, 2012 Report Posted April 28, 2012 Maybe they will finally address the D line starting in r4?
cHaD711Johnson Posted April 28, 2012 Report Posted April 28, 2012 Polk and Charles would be great. Not happening though.
wpeldios Posted April 28, 2012 Report Posted April 28, 2012 There are 2 names I really Like out there for round four. Polk has always been my rb of choice(after richardson and martin) and Martin at safety. Also I do like the idea of Rainey and for those of you that wanted James you should be all over him at this point.
HoosierCat Posted April 28, 2012 Report Posted April 28, 2012 Ch-Ch-Ch-Channing C-C-C-C-rowder! :lmao:
