Bills fans are claiming that this game was fixed. Apparently the refs stole this one from them.

Fixed!? How so?

Apparently Dalton's fumble shouldn't have been overturned, Johnson's drop should have been overturned, and Marvin's challenge on Dalton's run should have stayed a 4th down.

They seem convinced that it was too much to be coincidence. Yes... The powers that be were very interested in this game. The outcome of Cincinnati and Buffalo in week 4 can't be left to chance.

Ha Ha. I've got a friend who loves to claim the NFL is rigged. It's about half tongue in cheek. He calls it the WWNFL.

I only saw the second half, and couldn't see it that well (sports/wing place with my 7 year old running amok), did Johnson drop that pass? I tried to see but couldn't ever see where he lost control.

So... Reedy has been stealing Hair's rant. Either that... or he has been watching the games.

So you think we'll hear a Mea Culpa from Hair after this one? I don't think so either. That's not something he does but Gresham did what he does yesterday and that's to be a difference maker with his athleticism. Those plays he made could not be made by most TEs in the league including Gronkowski. That's why he was a 1st rd draft pick. He's never going to be a Pro Bowl blocker but w/o Gresham we don't win that game.

Hair also didn't look too good where Caldwell was concerned yesterday. Where Shipley beats Caldwell hands down is, in well you got it, hands. Caldwell had the drops and we've seen that before. One of his drops led directly to 7 pts for the Bills. I don't know about the rest of you but I found myself missing Shipley yesterday

I miss Shipley in the slot, but still feel that Caldwell is a more complete NFL WR. Caldwell can play all three spots and Shipley is a slot/possesion WR only. That said I think Caldwell is going to replace Simpson on the outside and mini-toast will be the new slot guy after seeing his production yesterday. Caldwell seems to be all or nothing, depending on the day. That suits me fine, opposite AJ on the outside.

Two very close calls did go our way, the incompletion to the Bills WR and the spot of Dalton's scramble but the Bills have to realize that they got the lucky bounces. The deflected pass that went to their WR in the first half and the bounce off of Caldwell both led to scores. If not for those the Bills might not have been in the game

And for those of you who don't think Jermaine Gresham is hurting the team...check yourselves. Because even Gresham himself isn't buying your excuses. In fact, he's actually admitting the many of the very same things I've accused him of.

How do you feel about Gresham today, Hair?

(assuming you've handled your virus/trojan/worm issue you mentioned elsewhere)

I look for Baby Hawk to start getting more playing time than Caldwell. He came off the practice squad and has already gotten more action than Whalen and Caldwell, both of whom made the team straight out of preseason. The speed out of the slot is more beneficial than the experience that Caldwell has.

Caldwell has a lot of speed. I think the difference is drops.

Caldwell has combine speed. Still waiting to see the football speed.

Liked what I saw in Hawkins.

Now Tate - How come he comes in from the Patriots and is handed all the return duties? Id love to see him make someone miss and get some good yardage.

Gresham looked good... in the 2nd half. He was still completely invisible in the 1st half.

I'll give him his props for stepping up and being a big reason why the Bengals were able to come back... but he needs to keep it up and become more consistent. By my count... he only played that well for about 60 total minutes this season.

As for Caldwell - yesterday was a reminder as to why Shipley was drafted. He has a ton of talent (more than Shipley) but he's unreliable. His play subscribes to the Netwonian law of motion. For every great play he makes, there is an equal and opposite terrible mistake.

Sure but how could he look good in the first half with the way Dalton was overthrowing his receivers? He needs help

Fixed!? How so?

The Bengals paid off the refs, of course! (Hat tip to GB for the find.)

Where're this kid's parents? I bet he's making them proud.

Nowadays the internet gets to treat us to stuff like this. Ain't the internet grand?

What do you bet his third most hated team will be whoever beats the Bills next? Actually that team will probably be his new #1 pushing the Bengals and Patriots down a notch

True. We'll be #2 on his list real quick.

andy's so called fumble, tuck rule thanks tom!

the no catch, they called it incomplete, reviewed it and stuck to their decision.

andy's first down run, talk about refs try to f**k someone . they spotted the ball over a foot short. the replay showed clear as day andy hit the yard marker.

as for the bills fans whining f**k'em, we have all seen more than our fair share of bad calls and reviews.

if paying the refs wins games. it's about damn time mike got with the program! remember this is the nfl, cheating is tolerated ask bill.

That kid is so f**king awesome I want to hire him to become a Bengal fan and make a vid ater every game.

That kid came up with the following lines:

1. "We would have won this game, if the referees were not bastards who should all rot in hell."

2. "If you're a Bengals fan, just go die already."

Kid if you're reading this, clean your damn room. And if you see my wife you better just run because you're about five seconds from getting your mouth washed out with soap in a manner so violent it will likely leave you scarred for life. And don't look at me, I can't help you.

Mea culpa? Why would I bother with that when others, including Joe Reedy, noted many of the things I had said? Or taking it a step further, why would I offer a mea culpa after Gresham himself admitted most of the things I claimed?

Furthermore, your remark that most TE's couldn't have done exactly what Gresham did only proves yet again how deeply your head is shoved up your own ass. Or didn't you notice how the Bills, unlike any team the Bengals had faced this season, were allowing Gresham a free release from the LOS?

No, you didn't notice that, did you? Because you're stupid, right? Or if you prefer, you're an ignorant bright guy who was either too drunk or busy to notice how the Browns took Gresham out of the game by matching him with an obscure DE (Jamie Mitchell?). Or how Denver completely negated Gresham using a LB....a trick copied by the 49'ers, but not by Buffalo. Hell, you're probably so stupid you imagine every NFL team defends the TE position in exactly the same way week after week, right?

Frankly, the dumbest thing you've claimed might be how most NFL TE's couldn't have made the same plays Gresham finally made. In fact, if given a completely free release from the LOS most NFL TE's could have made those plays as easily as Gresham managed IF the QB's throw was accurate, which Dalton was for at least half of Sunday's game. Prior to that nearly every throw Dalton attempted was either one or two steps behind all of his recievers, including the pick 6 that was pulled off of Caldwell's shoes.

So yeah, there's your mea culpa. Now take it and shove it directly up your ass with both hands.
