Peyton Manning has great comedic timing. I remember his SNL appearance and it was great.

Football Cops above was awesome. Kind of similar to that Beastie Boys video some years back, but making fun of '70s cop shows never gets old. That Fu Manchu mustache Eli is wearing is a good look for him, he should just start wearing it in real life.

Just an odd memory from my tv watching days (old man alert, anyone under 40 just stop reading now), for some reason a scene from the William Shatner tour de force, "TJ Hooker" has always stuck in my mind. TJ shoots and kills some bad guy. Then he walks in the police station where all the other cops are standing around. He has a folder in his hand and his exact line was, "I've got the rap sheet on that maggot I just dropped." Just the phrasing, the use of words, in that sentence has always stuck with me. I remember wondering, "would a cop really talk like that?"

So damn wierd. From her stilted, ackward "dancing" to the brightly lit strip club with like 10 guys in it, to the odd sidewalk type thing she is dancing on. Nice work Hollywood! They cranked out so much crap in the '70s and '80s.

Unfortunately Football Cops is definitely not serious. I'd have made every effort to watch it every week.
