ArmyBengal Posted April 27, 2011 Report Posted April 27, 2011 This is the place to discuss everything there is about who the Bengals take in the 2nd round...
ArmyBengal Posted April 29, 2011 Author Report Posted April 29, 2011 Do they trade back up ??I hope not !!!
HoosierCat Posted April 29, 2011 Report Posted April 29, 2011 Do they trade back up ??I hope not !!!Depends on the deal. They do need someone to, y'know, throw to the guy they just picked...
volcom69 Posted April 29, 2011 Report Posted April 29, 2011 Im hoping they go defense, or offense line with this next pick.
ArmyBengal Posted April 29, 2011 Author Report Posted April 29, 2011 Do they trade back up ??I hope not !!!Depends on the deal. They do need someone to, y'know, throw to the guy they just picked...How come when the Cardinals pass on a QB, they say, "the Cardinals are going to go after a vet QB to compete this year" but the Bengals have to give up picks and reach to get someone to throw to the person we just drafted ??

I don't think trading back into the first to get a Ponder, Dalton or Mallett would be a reach at all.
TJJackson Posted April 29, 2011 Report Posted April 29, 2011 1) trade down2) Best available lineman either side of the ball any of the 9 spots
ArmyBengal Posted April 29, 2011 Author Report Posted April 29, 2011 Yeah, guys (minus Mallett who doesn't fit our scheme) that are generally graded as 3rd round talent getting pushed up the board due to the CBA issues. I just think it would be poor to give up picks with the holes we have to, yes, reach for someone when other teams are looking to free agency.
volcom69 Posted April 29, 2011 Report Posted April 29, 2011 Wow Browns get more draft picks with trading that pick!!!Holy hell the falcons gave up alot for Julio Jones
BengalszoneBilly Posted April 29, 2011 Report Posted April 29, 2011 Wow Browns get more draft picks with trading that pick!!!Holy hell the falcons gave up alot for Julio JonesMost people will say too much, but I guess they really thought he had to be their pick at that time.
BengalszoneBilly Posted April 29, 2011 Report Posted April 29, 2011 QB No. 3 off the board...Glad to see him go!
HoosierCat Posted April 29, 2011 Report Posted April 29, 2011 First 10:1(1) Carolina Panthers Cam Newton QB Auburn2(2) Denver Broncos Von Miller LB Texas A&M3(3) Buffalo Bills Marcell Dareus DL Alabama4(4) Cincinnati Bengals A.J. volcom69 Posted April 29, 2011 Report Posted April 29, 2011 Wow these guys think there will be maybe 3-4 more QBs go tonight, if thats the case the Bengals will not have one to choose from next round. If they are set on a QB in this draft they will have to move back in the first round
ArmyBengal Posted April 29, 2011 Author Report Posted April 29, 2011 JJ Watt goes to Houston...I'm unimpressed with him for some reason.
BengalszoneBilly Posted April 29, 2011 Report Posted April 29, 2011 JJ Watt goes to Houston...I'm unimpressed with him for some reason.Huge reach there!
BengalszoneBilly Posted April 29, 2011 Report Posted April 29, 2011 Fairley is still on the board.Unbelievable.
volcom69 Posted April 29, 2011 Report Posted April 29, 2011 Well there goes Ponder, the Bengals will have to move back in the first if they want to get a QB i dont see any sitting there in the 2nd round.
membengal Posted April 29, 2011 Report Posted April 29, 2011 Teams have lost their effin minds with these quarterbacks going this high. f**kin' insane.
