Good we lost like this

I don't want any weird pointless late season rally. This was great because it really showed how horrible this team is. The Bengals were up 28 - 7 and were outscored 42-3 by who? The Colts? Patriots? Steelers? The 1-8 Buffalo Bills. Troy Blackburn needs to be the focus. He has to sweet talk Katie into getting a GM. Then Katie has to get her dumb dad to step down. It's time. I want the Bengals to lose the rest of the season and have the number 1 pick in the draft.

Yeah, the last time we lost a 28-7 lead was at home against the Chargers in 2006. We promptly kept Breshnahan as the DC in route to a 7-9 2007 season.

Today's loss should make huge waves. Right.

News flash, Sparky.

WE ALREADY KNEW!!!!!

But did Mike Brown know? He has a low football IQ. Obviously. Even he should be able to see how bad this was.

Mike Brown will point to the injuries on the secondary and how unfortunate the turnovers were. MB has seen this in 18 of 20 seasons why would he pick this one to all of the sudden change anything?

We could be 2-14 and that man would probably think we'd be 2-3 plays away from 12-4 and a superbowl win...

Nothing is wrong we don't need quality coaches we don't eed Scouts we don't need a"REAL" medical stafff...

we Just need better luck....So prepare for mike brown to go buy a lucky horseshoe and maybe a four leaf clover next year.

Furthermore...we can't draft worth beans anyway so what good is a first round draft pick?

And the hits just keep on coming...from Hobson...

In their 49-31 victory over the Bengals Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium, the Bills became the first team in NFL history to win by 18 points after trailing by at least 17 points at halftime. Down 31-14 at the half, former Bengals quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick engineered the biggest Bills’ road comeback since 1987 in the Bengals’ worst half ever. Never before Sunday had they been outscored 35-0 in a half…

Who can forget the 85 Browns making the playoffs in 85? J/K Yes. It is over. Look people. I know the Bengals suck. Hell I don't even live in Ohio, I don't know why I like them. I just want them to win the bleeping Super Bowl. Why does Tom chase Jerry? The Coyote chase the Roadrunner? It makes no sense, but I'm rooting for these suckwads!

I agree. Anyone who has been a longtime Bengal fan knows that losing doesn't bring on epithanies for MB. He extended Dave Shula after a horrible season. The best we can hope for is a new head coach. Don't even bring up getting a GM. We've been through that time and time again for the past 20 yrs. It ain't happenin'

That's a rhetorical question, right?

Then, yes, it is over.

It was over when they imploded in the loss to Tampa.

They SHOULD have beaten Tampa, Miami, Indy and probably Atlanta and Cleveland. Those were winnable. But not for this rendition of this team, these coaches and these circumstances.

It has been over for some time.

EDIT: to add, I don't think they'll win another game, unless the Ravens are resting for the playoffs.

The number 1 pick will not help this franchise. It costs too much, and will probably be a QB. This team has far more important concerns than QB (even though there are a ton on Carson haters out there). Andrew Luck will not be ready to start from day 1, and it would send the Bengals into full rebuilding mode, meaning by the time he is ready (if ever), they will need to also have replacements for Chad, T.O., Benson, Roy Williams, Bobbie Williams, Dhani Jones, Geathers, Odom, among others.

To bring a Rookie QB in behind this O-Line would be murder.....We need O-Line (2 Guards and a RT, maybe C too), Pass Rushers, a couple of Safeties, a RB (Benson is not the guy), WR's....

If the Bengals did get the #1 pick, the best thing would be to HIRE A F*CKIN' GM who could parlay that pick into multiple draft choices from a QB starved team (Think Arizona, Minnesota, San Fran, even Buffalo) because Mike Brown will probably give that up for a cheaper pick and a pack of Skittles....taste the freakin' rainbow you dumb son of a B*tch!

I'll Disagree

-If the First Selection was a Left Tackle it could help this team,We could then Move whitworth to the Right Side and move bigdre to RG...then take LG or simply let Mathis Start.

-We don't know how much it's going to cost but it's not going to be as bad as it has been for the past 5 years...owners will get a new system or rookie payscale in place with the new labor agreement...

No Way Rookies will make elite top 5 QB Money anymore.
