Sea Ray
There's been a lot of talk here that Marvin needs to go, well let's advance the issue. Who do you want to see Mike Brown hire? Don't bother suggesting folks you know won't come here like Cowher or Parcells. My thinking is the best we can hope for is Brian Billick. Actually I want a grizzled disciplinarian like Tom Coughlin. I don't want a young, deer in the headlights no name like Dave Shula was. I'm hesitant to go the Mike Zimmer route as he has no head coaching experience Who would you like to see as head coach next year?
derekshank
If Carolina fires John Fox, he'd be my first choice. He traditionally builds good defense (specifically good pass rush) and run first offense. I think that's a very good fit for the Bengals roster (assuming Chad and T.O. are gone), and despite the Carolina is having, Fox is a damn good coach. COB
If his health is up for it, I'd take Marty Schottenheimer. If we could get 3 or 4 years out of him, he'd lay a foundation for future success that could last a long time assuming his successor isn't some idiot. I feel like Marvin has already done the heavy lifting in that department. It's time to bring someone in who can get the most out of the talent on the roster. If that's Marty, I'm all for it... but doesn't he have a history of not getting along with owners/GMs? Cincy seems like an awful fit in that regard.
Stripes
I could dig Brian Billick. Maybe John Fox.

HoosierCat
I wouldn't get my hopes up for a Billick/Cowher/Fox/Schottenheimer type. That's never been Mikey's style. Experienced coaches cost too much and want more say than the Brown Family is willing to allow. Typically, Brown's preferences run toward the just-concluded season's "hot young offensive coordinator(s)." Think Mike Mularkey, circa 2002. At the moment, however, none of the teams who are in the top 10 offensively and have a good record have particularly young OCs, so Mikey might have to go after the hot older offensive coordinator. If I was forced to make a bet right now, I would put my wooden nickel on Titans OC and former Denver assistant HC Mike Heimerdinger.

combatbengal
Jim Tressell! Year after year, he puts together a competitive football team and they compete. I don't want a coach from a losing program brought in! I hear Icky woods coaches a womans pro team.
