ShulaSteakhouse Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 Odd to keep a guy who does nothing but return kicks I guess, ecspecially when you have Pac Man/Shipley/Scott who can do that just as well, if not better.I'm not even sure he'll return kicks if he makes the team. He could just offer depth at receiver as a hybrid type, capable of stretching the field and playing the possession role without being very exceptional at either. Besides returning punts, his best contribution will probably come in the kick return game as the lead blocker in the wedge. He handles that duty amazingly well for someone his size, and that's not limited to Scott's TD against Pittsburgh last year.Yeah you're right, Marvin likes to keep a ST's ace every year and Quan is as close to one as they have, and likely retains that role.
volcom69 Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 Geno plays great against the run also, he is exciting to watch
ShulaSteakhouse Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 Good to see Nugent hit that FGHe looks like a guy who just won a FT job on the sidelines. I've always rooted for him (he was nails in college as most know).Pat Sims looks like he's getting his wind/strength back tonight against the scrubs.
Stripes Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 Simpson was out to return a punt? Well the result was a fumble.
ShulaSteakhouse Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 Jerome Simpson simply isn't very smart..sigh. But he looks great running routes and catching passes.
BengalszoneBilly Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 Nice job Jerome... :frustrated:
volcom69 Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 Bad bounce on that punt hit Jerome right in the face
ShulaSteakhouse Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 Johnny Sears...again...lol...I've seen enough!
volcom69 Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 Nice catch there by colts brandon james, over Sears, poor sears not a good night
Stripes Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 Johnny Sears...again...lol...I've seen enough! If somewhere Ifeanyi Ohelete is contemplating eating cyanide, I hope he flips on this game and sees the light.
ShulaSteakhouse Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 Peerman should return KO's - that speed in the open field is really impressive.
HoosierCat Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 So Peerman has what, like 150+ all purpose yards tonight...nothing like the last preseason game...
alleycat Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 I'm starting to think all of our amazing returners have more to do with our return blockers...
BengalszoneBilly Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 Holy Hell! That was a nice play by Jordan and Briscoe!
ShulaSteakhouse Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 Um wow, there's Briscoe, two nice TD passes from little Palmer tonight
HoosierCat Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 Oh...THERE'S Briscoe....was starting to wonder...
Stripes Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 Damn. Briscoe says "f**k you, Jerome".
volcom69 Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 Wow nice pass and catch there Briscoe, and he looked good. Im sure he will be on the practice squad
HoosierCat Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 50 yard run...50 yard pass. That's what I call a balanced drive. 1
alleycat Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 Pat Sims turning it on when the knife gets close...
BengalszoneBilly Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 50 yard run...50 yard pass. That's what I call a balanced drive. Let's do those all year.
