Stripes
The NL Central belongs to Cincinnati. It'd take a catastrophe worse than what the Mets did three years ago to lose control of things now. The Braves won and the Padres lost, so we're tied with Atlanta for the best record in the NL. semiotter
U K its kinda like if the starter goes out tied or behind and another pitcher comes in, if his team scores runs to go ahead he is the pitcher of record. . .

The traffic in this topic has been incredible. Not as incredible as the way the Reds have been playing, but pretty damn close.
Stripes
Oh no, here we go again.Don't piss off the stat teacher, TDB! If you've ever taken a stat class, I can find a way to have your grade revoked! No matter, had I ever taken the class I'm sure I'd have completed none of the homework and finished with an F anyways. Until I hear/see a good reason to consider W/L anything more than the least useful mainstream statistic for assessing a pitcher's worth, I'll continue to diss it constantly. The traffic in this topic has been incredible. It's pretty cool to see. This old cadaver of a subforum getting so much traffic is odd but refreshing. When the Reds make the playoffs, it should only get better.
