Geno with pressure again. He's actually the first player I've seen on our teams in years that doesn't make our stunts look slow...

I watch him on every play i have not seen a DT like this in a long time.

Tell you what stood out in this one, the Bengals were WAY more physical than the Eagles, on all units on both sides of the ball.

Well, general criticism of him not helping to date is a weird criticism in a game thread, and I wasn't reading it that way.

Smith wasn't great, but he did play, and that is a start. He also showed flashed of why he was picked where he was. And that I like. And I still hold out hope that he can force his way past Roland for NE.

Zim must have yelled like crazy this week, this defense was crazy tonight so very physical and were getting great push. So hats off to the defense

Trust me so do i im not a big fan of Roland he is a good backup but not a great starter. I like Roland in the jumbo package though. So im rooting for Andre i think he can be a great player here if keeps working

That pick was awesome, and this was a very solid one. My only worry is with the kicking game.

I think those of you who have to wait for tape delay tomorrow on NFL Network will generally be pleased with what you see.

As for the kicking game that is supposed to make field goals, the kicker may be in someone else's camp still...we shall see when cut come.

I ain't waiting for s**t mem. I got to see this game live and this team is for real. The defense is tough, and the offense is primed to follow. Philly was a tough matchup, but Cincy pulled it off.

I was happy with the game, offense played all first half would like to seen more then 7 points. Was so happy to see them air it out i have missed that and i think they need to keep doing that. Keep the opposing defense guessing. Only thing with Palmer is his passes are still alittle high, needs to work on that.

O-Line i thought did pretty good against the Eagles blitzes and gave Palmer time to throw the ball. Still think they need to work on the running game again. I think they should use the Jumbo package sometimes that worked pretty good for them last year and Roland or Smith was pretty good doing that.

Defense was just awsome tonight, no TDs allowed very physical. So they did a great job. Great young players on this defense which makes me happy

I hope Nugent gets more opportunities in the next two games. He seems to be a bit of an unknown, as far as how well we can logically expect him to play. Rayner looks like he'd be well below average in all likelihood.

I hear you and was being sarcastic obviously. He did rack up 3 penalties I believe, but he doesn't get pushed back into Palmer like Roland - he just needs reps I hope.

Yeah, Shula, me too on the reps. ML seemed to indicate as much a few days ago. I am sure it was part of ML's frustration that he wasn't in shape from the start of camp.

I prefer Nug even Rayners extra points look risky always going wide to one direction And well Nugent was wide left it was a 60 yard kick and looked like it would made it had it been 45-50 yard kick.

QB-Points misleading I liked what I saw in the offense overall(least carson

RB-Ced is Ced,Scott is special and Peerman looks like a solid Practice Squad guy

FB-Tronzo(Sp?)! looks like he'll win the starting position

WR-Simpson showed some nice speed bad fumble but still gonna be hard to toss him...T.O. Looked like a Tight End when matched up against those eagle corners

TE-Gresham made a few mistakes but made some nice ass plays,I didn't wanna spend 1st on TE though I always wanted a TE like him so I'm glad we took him!

Oline-Looked Solid RT still looks like a weakness... and atleast Bigdre has some upside unlike Rolin he did a Nice job on Bscotts TD.

Dline Tank made a nice Play....Geno Needs to be resigned now I want to see this man a bengal for the next 10 Years he's just a freaking wrecking Ball So tiny yet so Fast & powerful...

Dunlap Also had a Very impressive Sack showing his speed and Reach ability...Well I'm not impressed by our starters passrushing ability I really like idea of MJ,Dunlap & Geno going after the QB

LB-All Looked good Resign MJ & Maualuga now they also need be bengals for next 10 years lol...sure 3-4 years early but can't risk these young studs ever getting away

DB's-Gave up Some Plays had some BS Flags overall looked Solid mainly backups giving up some plays

Kicker-Poor Nugg people just don't want him to have a fair shot

Punter-Huber Still super Directional skills but overall Str bit lacking

Returner-Wow Adam Jones is a beast...I am so glad we signed the guy he's just entertaining to watch return I'm also glad we didn't get Cowboy Pacman...I Dunno if we can Justify Cosby a spot as a returner but I hope we do keep 7 WR's and let him lead for the returners ala Bscotts huge run last year..

I'd like to see him play the same way against 1st string O-Lineman for an entire game, but he sure is tearing up the backups.

I agree, Palmer was high on most of his passes again. He really needs to work on that. The bomb to TO was almost perfect and his control was OK, but those high throws seem to be a consistent theme for the last 2-3 seasons.

Raynor looked like he maybe the next cut, it maybe time to let him go and see exactly if Nugent can be the guy. I'm beginning to think a cut from somebody else is going to be the PK'er for this team in NE.
