walzav29 Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 I will get a little antsy if the Bengals passing game doesn't look sharp tonight. I will start blaming Brat. Let's hope all goes well.
derekshank Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 I'm sure Brat is very concerned that you'll start blaming him. We all want to see improvement... especially in areas they were weak last year. But saying "They better look sharp" in the first preseason game isn't very important. If the first team offense hasn't scored a TD by the time they head to the bench in the 3rd pre-season game we can probably start being concerned that they haven't improved. But some early rust in the first couple of pre-season games doesn't get me worked up.
jjakq27 Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 Things I'll be looking for tonite:Production by the first team offense especially the pass offenseJermaine GreshamWill Maualuga play in the middle? The continued development of Adam JonesControl of the line of scrimmage on defense vs. Denver's first team offenseTebow's haircutTebow's tears
Stripes Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 I want to see Michael Johnson demolish Tim Tebow at least once. Well rather, I want to hear about it because I won't be "seeing" anything.
TJJackson Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 I will be watching in particularGenoDunlapCosbyScottCoffmanand of course MJ :-)
HairOnFire Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 The thing I look forward to most? How about no injuries to discuss after the game? As for players, on offense....Jerome Simpson. Hopefully the QB play won't be so horrible that Simpson can't be properly evaluated. On defense, Carlos Dunlap. I'll be looking for clues regarding the role the Bengals expect him to play this season.
volcom69 Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 I would like to see the starting o-line gel better tonight and protect Palmer and open running lanes. If they dont play good to begin with i wonder if Marvin will keep them out there.I really wanna see Dunlap tonight, with Geathers out he should get a ton of snaps, and i am hoping to see good pass rush with him.Would like to see Gresham get some catches also.
BengalszoneBilly Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 Game on my friends. Are you ready for some FOOTBALL!?!
kingwilly Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 Lets see some sharpness. Get it going Carson!
BengalszoneBilly Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 And the stupid penalties continue... :frustrated:
kingwilly Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 Looked way too easy.Stupid penalty on Tank. Why is Dhani Jones covering Eddie Royal? Stupid.
volcom69 Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 stupid penalties and no pass rush again
kingwilly Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 Solid block from Gresham, put the LB on his back.Another catch that Coles could not have made. TO makes Carson better.
kingwilly Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 Chad makes Champ fall down with ease,Gresham pops his cherry.
kingwilly Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 Benson still a monster. Hold on Gresham, not called.
BengalszoneBilly Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 THAT'S what I'm talkin' about! Benson baby!!!!
volcom69 Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 wow ugly kick.....yea fg still a problem
kingwilly Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 FFS. Missing from 44 Rayner?Offense not quite solidified.Gresham is a willing blocker, just needs more experience.Carson has time to throw. Where is the upgraded playcalling? Where is Scott getting a screen? Unshot bullets, IMHO.
kingwilly Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 Pacman looks smooth. Jammed the ball out of the catch. He is an upgrade over Morgan Trent.
BengalszoneBilly Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 About time the defense stopped Orton. This dude is at best a back up QB.
