I'm interested in what they are doing at Safety I guess...Marvin White or Pat Watkins (can't imagine Rico Murray would be kept?)...wonder if White won himself a job Thurs night or not.

For those of you hunting the waiver wire for safety help, the Titans have released Myron Rolle in an attempt to sneak him onto the practice squad.

No surprise he was cut...at least not to me.

Myron Rolle sucks. I still remember people arguing with me before the draft when I said he had no chance to be an NFL player. People were even upset we didn't draft him. Not athletic enough or "football smart" enough. When you combine lack of athleticism and speed with lack of football instincts, it's a bad combo.

Free agent S Pat Watkins visited the Bengals on Wednesday.

The Bengals are in the market for safety help with Gibril Wilson (knee) out for the year, and Watkins fits the bill. When healthy, the former Cowboy is an ace special teamer and decent backup safety. Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer was in Dallas during Watkins' rookie year in 2006.
