Kazkal
Tanks returning which is good IMO Makes DT much less of a need in the draft...hell really don't wanna see one now unless a steal lands in our laps.

kingwilly
We still need a DT.Peko, Sims, Tank and..... Harris? NOT. Hamburglar? NOT.Need a DT. Should draft a DT.Taking care of WR before the draft means they can go for a DT early. fine by me.

membengal
Good news. He played through pain and injuries last year at a time when they needed him to. Glad to have him back.
whizzo
nice. me personally, i don't think we need another DT, seeing how some our bigger DEs could easily slide inside on passing downs.

They were luck to gt Harris and Hamburglar...might not happen next time. Those guys are a huge step down from the starters.Frostee is not a DT, either is Fanene or Geathers. This is the AFCN, we do not need DE's trying to do the work of the DT.

blueridge
Good news! Tank really manned up last season and I am glad he will be back wearing stripes. Besides, after watching the "Hard Knocks" bunkbed scene,I think he is a pretty good guy.

Kazkal
We still need a DT.Peko, Sims, Tank and..... Harris? NOT. Hamburglar? NOT.Mcdonald Maybe?Fanene if they don't have him start at DE? Between Odom,Fanene,Geathers and rucker if he makes the team kicking inside on passing downs i'm just not that worried about 4th DT minus InjurysFrostee is not a DT, either is Fanene or Geathers. This is the AFCN, we do not need DE's trying to do the work of the DT. Um Actually Fanene was our 4th DT at start of the season but moved back to DE when Odom went down. ArmyBengal
VERY nice to see this, but can't envision them taking a DT early on with this signing now. Point being, why draft another late round DT when they have McDonald (sp) still on the roster ?? Then again, I suppose you weigh the other holes needing to be filled versus the attempts to get younger at the DT position...Anyway around, great news !!! wpeldios
Love this, Tank was solid in his play last year and was fun to watch on Hard Knocks. Glad to have him back.
cincyhokie
Good move keeping Tank. Now let's keep adding to the depth up front and draft another DT that can help us as injuries are bound to happen again.
BlainThePain
Very relieved that Tank is back. The guy fought through a bad foot all year and played well for us.If draft a DT to fill that last spot on the depth chart, I like both of the East Carolina defensive tackles. Linval Joseph in the third or Jay Ross in the fifth. Both are big men that move well.
walzav29
I'm glad to have Tank back. I strongly feel the Bengals should still go defense with the 21st pick. Gotta get elite. DE, DT, S.
HairOnFire
VERY nice to see this, but can't envision them taking a DT early on with this signing now. Agreed. I was very interested in how this one played out as I believe the Bengals were perfectly positioned to draft a very good DT prospect early if Tank demanded too much money. But they've made their choice now, and since it's a 4-year deal rather than a temporary fix I've got absolutely no problem with the signing. DE, DT, S.DT in the 1st round? Unless his name is suh or Mccoy....But I do agree with Defense But I'd look at DE,SS or Someone to be Marvins Joker SLB/DE (really don't want 1st round linebacker but easier justify then DT.) Wraith
If McClain falls to 21 or Spikes grades out well I would be really interested in ILB, Dhani is getting up there and setting up for his next career (something along the lines of International Man of Mystery) we could use a young MLB to complete the trio and Spikes would be awesome lined up next to Rey and Rivers. To provide basis for my point here is a you tube highlight video:/>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4KJUEdN3T8
LABengalsFan09
Best part of the Tank Johnson bunk bed scene from Hard Knocks is that he wasn't the one who put it together. The camera crew did... But great scene nonetheless...
DC_Bengals_Fan
Best part of the Tank Johnson bunk bed scene from Hard Knocks is that he wasn't the one who put it together. The camera crew did... But great scene nonetheless...Actually, the best part is that this guy making millions per year bought the cheapest bunk bed on the planet - $200 from Walmart. I know this because I bought one about a week before it aired on Hard Knocks. I was watching him try to put it together and I thought "wait a minute...those parts and pieces look familiar...TANK YOU CHEAP B*STARD!".Nah, I figure it's good he's still frugal, need to keep some money for retirement. Too few guys do.
