HoosierCat
Inactives for the Pitt/Miami game, via PFT:Williams active, Polamalu inactive for Steelers-Dolphins gamePosted by Josh Alper on January 3, 2010 12:35 PM ETDespite a shoulder injury that kept him questionable all week, Ricky Williams will be in uniform and in the starting lineup for the Dolphins for Sunday's game with the Steelers. He's expected to get plenty of help from Lex Hilliard and Kory Sheets also made the active roster to help out in the running game. The Dolphins and Steelers both have long-shot playoff hopes on the line in the 1 p.m. contest from Miami. The Dolphins inactives are wide receiver Patrick Turner, defensive back Evan Oglesby, guard Andrew Hartline, tackle Andrew Gardner, defensive end Lionel Dotson, and defensive end Ryan Baker. Tyler Thigpen will be the third quarterback. As reported earlier on Sunday morning, safety Troy Polamalu will miss his 11th game of the season with a knee injury. Thanks to a neck injury, defensive end Brett Keisel makes it a pair of Steelers defensive starters on the sideline. The other Steelers inactives are cornerback Trae Williams, guard Kraig Urbik, tackle Tony Hills, defensive tackle Sunny Harris and wide receiver Joey Galloway. The third quarterback will be Charlie Batch.

HoosierCat
From the boston.com pat's twitter feed:Welker is on the bench wiping at his eyes with a towel. Brady walked over, put a hand on Welker's leg. Welker is being loaded on to a cart. less than a minute agoIt looked like Welker hurt his knee while trying to cut, not on contact. His knee buckled. Really, really ugly. He is hobbling off with help 4 minutes agoNightmare scenario for #Patriots: Wes Welker goes down, stays down, grabs left knee. Looks bad. 5 minutes agoTD FINS!!!! You think the Indy coaching staff is hearing it now, imagine the outrage if Manning had been "Kimo'd" in a meaningless game.Boston.com also passing along word from Casserly that Tom Brady is playing with 3 broken ribs. That's insane. Get him the hell out of there, Belichick.

I think the dynasty is over. If you look at it, he has done very much of what the bengals now have had success doing. Bringing in malcontents and cast-offs, and drafting smart, peppered with the infrequent big signing (Adalius Thomas and Moss).

volcom69
Man i would just love to see Pitt lose just to shut Woodley up.Man is it snowing in Buffalo, and it looks like Indy might be going into the playoffs with a losing streak. Not that its a big deal, but no team has gone to the superbowl coming off of a two game losing streak going into the playoffs lol.
