membengal
Bruce Arians. Not bright.3rd and 1 after two Mendenhall runs for nine yards and, in winds at 30 mph gusting to 46, puts Roeth in a shotgun for 3rd and 1. A shotgun! Wind chill is -12.One sack later and Pittsburgh is punting. If Brat called that play, this board would melt down.
membengal
Arians just made the same mistake on 3rd and 3 on the Steelers' second possession, and it resulted in another sack. And now a Cribbs return to the Steeler 8 on the ensuing punt puts Cleveland in field goal range. BengalszoneBilly
Browns get the figgie and the early 3-0 lead. They're going to need a tad more than "figgies" in this game!
membengal
With the wind and the cold, Billy, I don't know that to be the case. The conditions in Cleveland are brutal.
ChadJohnson-85
Honestly I could care less about this game. No matter if the Steelers win or lose, they still won't win out and make the play-offs. But I understand. I hate the Steelers as mush as anyone on this board. So, GO BROWNS! membengal
Afer 2005, I would never write off the Steelers who went from 6-6 that year to Champs. So, yeah, I want Cleveland to win, just to drive a bit more of a stake... membengal
Third and 7 for Steelers, shotgun, and another sack allowed. Three for Cleveland now. That last sack was because the guy came unblocked. Cleveland with ball at their 11. Ball security and field position is huge in this game given the conditions. membengal
Browns do a nice job crawling to midfield, punt, and pin the Steelers back at the 7.
membengal
Steelers three and out, Browns with ball at midfield and wind at backs.
membengal
Browns convert a 3rd and 13 with a 37-yard catch and run to Bengals-killer Massquoi. Now at the 14 and in field goal range.
membengal
another Cleveland figgie, 6-0 game now.Browns absolutely owning the field position battle.
volcom69
Another wasted oppertunity, would have loved to have seen 7 on the board there. Oh well its the browns offense. As long as there defense keeps playing strong, then they have a chance.
BengalszoneBilly
The longer Cleveland stays in this game, the better for their confidence. Not that I really care, but I'd love to see Pittsburgh lose five in a row!
AGrizzlyBaer
Just a bit of a random thought but if the steelers do lose this game, it will be up to playing the ravens in pittsburgh to not have the same divisional record as cleveland... how often does that happen? membengal
Cleveland does what it cannot when they fumble a short punt, but bailed out by a hold on the Steelers which nullifies the recovery. No mistakes, Cleveland. ChadJohnson-85
Watch the game live on NFL.com... Well kind of. They ain't showing the game thaaat much. Mainly just talking about whats going on./>http://www.nfl.com/live/2009/app?icampaign=TNF_CP_week14
membengal
They only show pieces live on nfl.com. Which sucks.Browns with ball at their 25 after a personal foul backs them up from the 40. Stupid. It's a field position game, giving up 15 yards hurts. membengal
Direct snap to Cribbs in Wildcat yields 40 yards for the Browns.Ball is at the Pittsburgh 30. Need another 10-15 yards to be in good field goal range.
