membengal
I managed to find that the record for penalties against one team in a game is 22. Three teams share that, two in the 1940s and the 1998 49ers. Couldn't find the combined record, nor the record for combined penalty yardage in a single game. cincyhokie
What a great turn of events indeed! Let's get it done this weekend! I'm hoping that my second playoff game at PBS turns out much different than the first.

cincyhokie
The question is who gets those WC spots? The way things are going now, someone is going to get in at 9-7. Strange. Broncos look like they will take one of the spots. Jags are in line for the 6th seed but they have a tough remaining schedule. The Steelers could win out and go 10-6. The Ravens still have a chance as do the Jets. My bet is that the Steelers take the 6th seed and play at the 3rd seed in the WC round. That just might be us. Sitting with 8 wins already they play the Colts, Raiders, Eagles, and KC. Now one would think they should get 10 wins. Though never take those division games for wins. So for the last spot this is how I see it. I think the Steelers have a tough time considering the way they have been playing to win out. They have to play Green Bay and then follow that up with another grudge match with the Ravens. Which could very well be a knock out game for one of these two teams. Then on the road at Miami to end the season. Can they win these games? Sure but I just see them having a hard time winning out. Baltimore on the other hand plays the Lions and Bears at home. Then they go to Pittsburgh, and end the season in Oakland. They could run the table and get to 10-6. The Jags do have a tough run playing Miami, the Pats, and the Colts. Though they end the season against a cupcake in the Browns. If they are lucky i think they finish the year 9-7. The Dolphins would have to win out but it could be possible playing the Jags, Titans, Texans, and Steelers. Potentially we could look at that week 17 game with the Steelers as a virtual play in game. The Jets also have a shot but I think there schedule is hard. They play the Bucs next week but follow it up with the Falcons, Colts, and Bengals. Though they may luck out and face the Colts and Bengals with nothing to play for, and get in at 10-6? Though one think I am not really taking into account is the very real possibility the Dolphins and Jets challenge the Pats for the AFC East. They are both only one game back.
