ChadJohnson-85
I just got done watching this (literally) before I came on here to the Zone. I was about to post this thread but you beat me to it lol. Anyways, after watching that video got me thinking... If we were to make it to the super bowl, out of all the teams I would love to see the Bengals verse (and of course beat) Seattle. Could you guys imagine what would be going through TJ's head? LOL! HAPPYJAQ
"...we got out with the "W" and Cincinnati lost. Perfect day!"Hard to believe that there were people that wanted this guy to be Franchised. Good riddance and enjoy your 3-13 season in The Most Depressed City in America, Touraj. Perfect day!"Hard to believe that there were people that wanted this guy to be Franchised. Good riddance and enjoy your 3-13 season in The Most Depressed City in America, Touraj. Was it that bad TJ? If it weren't for the Bengals you would have gone undrafted back in 2001. Immature quote from a guy who has made a habit of coming off as an arrogant baby. Didn't he also say something like "I didn't score but we won so it's a good day!"No s**t, a**hole. It should be an obviously good day when your team wins 28-0. Me, me, me...I, I, I. You're never going to win jacks**t, TJ.
agreen_112
I would never bash TJ when he was a Bengal because that's just not me, but I've never liked him.. He was absolute trash when he first got in the league. Then came Palmer. Then came that a-holes big f**king mouth and extremely big head. If it weren't for Palmer, TJ would've been cut a looooong time ago. Once TJ broke out he thought he was better than the game. TJ's good, but he's no Larry Fitzgerald, Ocho Cinco, Boldin, Calvin Johnson, M. Coleston, R. Wayne, S. Smith, etc.. He's always been the cancer here.. Marv specifically said that he got rid of the guys who don't want to be here and the ones who were bad seeds (He's talking about TJ)...So with that said, f**k TJ Houshmandzadeh!! He's a sell out. He's a big ass babby. I can't wait for him to throw one of his temper tantrums in front of all those fans up there in Seattle. Seattle now? Good for you! Who's your QB again? You know, not that I think about it. Chad's been a lot easier to deal with since TJ left. Hmm.......
ArmyBengal
Who cares about TJ ?? For all his hatred, we will see who has the last laugh. Hasselohmyback will get hurt again and there is no Chad to create that downfield threat that would allow him to work over the middle. You remember that TJ ?? Other people on the team making you better ?? He's always said he can be the #1 WR, well, we shall see how that works out this year. I don't even need to call names here, because when the season is all said and done, I think TJ will be in no better position than he was here. Honestly, I think it will be worse... jonahdsage
TJ has always been selfish and short tempered. It was manageable while he was here because he would make 3rd down catches. What I think I'm most excited about for this year is that everyone seems to WANT to be on the bengals. TJ is now officially dead to me. I thought we made a huge mistake in not resigning him, but I'm glad to see him go now. Must be something that was going on behind closed doors too because I was surprised how Marv was saying he thought we upgraded at receiver. Looks like he knew something we're just now discovering. C'mon coles -- slap some pine tar on those hands and man up.
AGrizzlyBaer
This was on Profootball Talk Today:Houshmandzadeh gets off to a slow startPosted by Mike Florio on September 18, 2009 8:44 AM ETThere was much talking and boasting and predicting from Seahawks receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh in the offseason, who stepped out of the shadow of Chad Ochocinco to demonstrate that, possibly, T.J. is an even bigger pain in the behind.Houshmandzadeh has promised a Pro Bowl for himself and quarterback Matt Hasselbeck, along with a top-five receiving performance.Houshmandazadeh has boycotted the 2010 Madden game, because the ability rankings didn't make him sufficiently elite in comparison to the truly elite NFC wideouts. So how's it going so far in Seattle? In Week One's 28-0 romp over the Rams, Houshmandzadeh had four six catches for 48 yards. This week, he has missed practiced on Wednesday and Thursday with back spasms.Possibly, he has been patting himself in the area too much. Pidge
Eh, throwaway comment. Who knows what went on behind closed doors but for his playing ability I'd still be happy if he was here - although it wouldn't alter our chances on the field hugely. Pro athlete has big ego and limited sense of perspective shocker. He'll get his catches if Hassleback stays healthy. He's a good fit for the WCO. As it is, he has a chance of making it to the playoffs again so good luck to him. These guys have short enough careers, I hope they enjoy it. bwillycuse
Glad he is gone too. And if he is happy when the Bengals lose I will be happy when he loses and plays poorly and keeps up his torrid 8 ypc.TJ thank you for your time. Man, I wonder where he would be at if we didnt draft him.(He was super close to getting cut as well)Well, you are quickly approaching Heinz Ward territory TJ. Thats hard to do. Seriously, any former Bengal that bashes this team is dead to me. Boomer is on that list as well.(I used to back Boomer but now the weakest link on the pregame show will continue as such IMO)When are these players going to realize that the fans are why they are here. I am a fan of the Bengals. You rip on the Bengals you throw dirt in my face. **** YOU!!!! DONT COME BACK!!MAN IM GLAD FOOTBALL IS HERE!!!! HairOnFire
Was this guy the cancer? Absolutely. At least at the end. TJ was one of my favorite Bengals, but I no longer have any regrets about him no longer being in stripes. Good riddance.
Sea Ray
Was this guy the cancer? Absolutely. At least at the end. TJ was one of my favorite Bengals, but I no longer have any regrets about him no longer being in stripes. Good riddance.Welcome back Hair. Where you been the last couple of weeks? As for TJ I see he's back to not practicing again. I wonder if the Seattle coaches will be OK with that? I think that habit really began to tear at Marvin here. I think TJ's attitude about practice really irritated the coaches here and led to them saying Good Riddance in the end. I'm a little surprised that TJ is up to his old tricks again after only one week in Seattle
kingwilly
You'd think the guy would be happy just being out of Cincy, it is low-class to take a lame pot shot at the team that paid him millions of dollars.I was a huge TJ guy in the day, now, he is just another immature millionaire with a big mouth and ego but bad hammy's. Walrus
Eh. Doesn't bother me. He's not on the team anymore and we don't even play the Seagulls this year.TJ was one of my favorite guys on the Bengals and I was sad to see him go, but this is just the way he is. He's always had a mouth on him and we all knew he didn't leave here on the best terms w/ the organization. Plus, can you imagine the grief Chad would've been giving him if he lost and the Bengals had won?
icehole3
http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playernews.aspx?sport=NFL&line=151647T.J. Houshmandzadeh-WR- Seahawks Sep. 17 - 7:23 pm et T.J. Houshmandzadeh (back spasms) missed a second straight practice Thursday.Housh has made it a habit to miss Wednesday and Thursday practices. Just to be sure, check Friday's official report before inserting him into your starting lineup this week.sounds like he's settling in
volcom69
What gets me is all these players that want off this team, go on to other teams and wanna talk trash all the time. Why not leave here and not talk about it at all. Its like you can never make anyone happy. I agree he was one of my favorites, but hes gone and who cares anymore, and i still think we have a better WR corps this year then anyother, but for some reason they have not showed it yet. Lets hope they come up big this week.
HairOnFire
Welcome back Hair. Where you been the last couple of weeks? I'm reluctant to answer. DadOnFire passed away two weeks ago, prompting an overnight flight home and a lengthy visit with family. Truth be told his passing after a 15 year battle with cancer was a blessing, but it's all been enough to leave my ass dragging. So in the hopes of returning to whatever it was I used to call normal I've resumed my visits here in search of a much needed distraction. So, please, somebody call me an a**h***. I swear it'll make me feel better. BTW, I should mention that I've been almost completely disconnnected from everything Bengal related since PRIOR to the final cuts. In fact, as I write this note I don't know which players made the Bengals final roster, and I have no idea which players were signed to the practice squad. I've missed dozens of articles, press conferences, and two weeks worth of Zone bickering and politics. In other words, for this brief frozen moment in time I'm as utterly clueless as MommaBearCat. Alright, I admit that last one felt a little forced, but I know if I'm patient it'll come back to me.

Sea Ray
So Hair how did you hear about how the Bronco game ended? You are blessed that you didn't have to watch it live.I agree, Boards like this are a great escape from the real world. The idiots are the ones who make Bengals football their life.
