Bearcat1975 Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 palmer looked scared, his passes were not crisp. and it wasn't the o-lines fault.I put that down to the loss of Housh and Kelly. Palmer's lost both his security blankets and is far from in the groove with Coles and Coats. Toss in opening night jitters and you have a recipe for sloppy play. lol anybody but the oline's fault Quote
imhungry1989 Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 Coverage was optional on that play Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 Zimmer has some work to do with his crew. Quote
derekshank Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 Who the hell is 21....Fletcher.Are these really the CB's the Bengals are going with after Joseph and Hall? Go sign someone! Quote
HoosierCat Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 Whatever. You can plainly see there's plenty of "positive" posts by me, as well as critical ones, get over it, seriously. It's my opinion, accept it or shut up already.Thinking that Smith would upgrade this line instantly is not exactly absurd.Yeah, it is. And if you don't get that, then there's no getting through to you. Smith may be an upgrade eventually, but right now he would be a step down. He has no timing with the rest of the line, is (if that Hard Knocks look is accurate) not exactly in the greatest of shape -- and thanks to our you-get-paid-you-play owner likely to get installed the minute he does show up is even MORE likely to get our QB hurt. volcom69 Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 This team needs another nickel corner please. Isnt Chris McCalister still out there is he still hurt. Please get another corner Flecher just sucks Quote

cincy9275 Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 was that flecther or did duke get caught looking in the backfield? Quote
Bearcat1975 Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 so Saints 1st teamers our better then our 2ndtheir 2nd are better then our 3rd good to knowThats what I was thinking. I would rather see the Bengals backups get evaluated against better talent, rather than beating the heck out of 3rd and 4th stringers en route to a meaningless win. Quote
volcom69 Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 Bad run defense by the back ups here. Quote
Ox Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 OK so what did I miss? Carson sprained an ankle? Quote
volcom69 Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 M. Johnson looking pretty good getting in the back field on some plays Quote
Ox Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 The freak MJ causes a fumble. Too bad we couldn't hang on. Quote

Smith is a very good natural tackle, and immediately will be better than Collins or Whit, I want him in there in whatever capacity to get ready for the opener. Worrying about Palmer being hurt by him being in the lineup is silly. Quote
volcom69 Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 These backup D-Backs need some work. Quote
volcom69 Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 This defense looks lost out here lol lol, nobody wanted to cover the other WR lol Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 The defense is plain getting carved up right now. Zero pressure on the QB. Quote
volcom69 Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 LOL i guess least its all the back ups though, but man this team needs another decent CB Quote
