walzav29 Posted October 10, 2008 Report Posted October 10, 2008 If it is really hurt you would think they would rest him at 0-5. They are dumb, but why risk your franchises health? There has been alot of hints that he can't go deep. The point is don't play him if he's hurt at this point. If he's ok, than fake it up. Quote
icehole3 Posted October 10, 2008 Report Posted October 10, 2008 700wlw just reported Palmer's out Quote

walzav29 Posted October 10, 2008 Author Report Posted October 10, 2008 http://www.bengals.com/news/news.asp?story_id=7170Good. I say rest him. Quote
Wraith Posted October 10, 2008 Report Posted October 10, 2008 PLEASE shelve Palmer for the remainder of the season, this season is a wash anyway why keep trotting Palmer out there only to re-injure his arm, let him rehab it so that we don't have this issue next season PLEASE! Quote
GregCook Posted October 10, 2008 Report Posted October 10, 2008 http://www.bengals.com/news/news.asp?story_id=7170Good. I say rest him.Right. It also means he shouldn't have played in Dallas since apparently playing makes it worse. Quote
walzav29 Posted October 10, 2008 Author Report Posted October 10, 2008 This is the 1st smart move in 2008. Rest him until he is 100% Quote
gregstephens Posted October 10, 2008 Report Posted October 10, 2008 700wlw just reported Palmer's out...and Ryan Fitzpatrick just rolled over in his grave (see other thread). Quote
walzav29 Posted October 10, 2008 Author Report Posted October 10, 2008 Just curious. Whoever the guy was that said the Bengals should give Fitz a start over Palmer. Can you talk us into some excitement now that he is starting? Quote

COB Posted October 10, 2008 Report Posted October 10, 2008 Just curious. Whoever the guy was that said the Bengals should give Fitz a start over Palmer. Can you talk us into some excitement now that he is starting? The thought to start Fitz was to keep Palmer from getting hurt. They started Palmer. He got hurt. We're 0-5. In retrospect, Fitz should have started every game. Quote

I think that connection is a stretch because who could foresee a freak elbow injury because somebody swatted his arm while in motion? Quote
