Ox Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 Breaking news on NFL network. NFL.com has it up too. f**k. Quote
volcom69 Posted September 28, 2008 Author Report Posted September 28, 2008 Everywhere PFT, nfl network , bengals.com i thought his elbow was fine but i guess not, it makes no sense to me at all when Marvin and Carson both said he was going to play. Oh boy im not liking this at all, the defense better step up today to help the offense out. Quote
Scottishbengal Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 We'll just have to biotch-slap those Brownies without him then!!! BRING IT ON Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 Thanks for the info guys. I swapped out Palmer as my starting QB in one of my fantasy leagues! Quote
semiotter Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 Oh snap!!!!! will fritz start? Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 Oh snap!!!!! will fritz start?I'd say yes, with Palmer moving to #3 behind his brother. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 Fitz to get the start, so all you "Let's bench Carson" supporters get your wish... Please God, please God, please God don't let us suck today !!!WHODEY !!! Quote
jonf45uk Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 right,i'm off to lock myself away in a darkened room............ Quote
Tee Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 Sore elbow???WTF??I'm calling bulls**t!!I'm betting he re-broke the nose AGAIN last week and the doctors are holding hiom out, but they are just calling it a sore elbow.f**king o-line. Levi needs his ass kicked again.... Quote
HoosierCat Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 Oh, hell, guys, what's the worse that can happen? We lose? Even with Palmer in, that was all too likely given the way they've played so far this year. And at least Fitz has some legs.Frankly, Watson being out worries me more. If there was ever a day for a breakout game by one Chris Perry, this is it. Quote
volcom69 Posted September 28, 2008 Author Report Posted September 28, 2008 Makes you wonder whats really going on here im not really understanding is it really his elbow or wtf? Im not sure if its his elbow either and i wonder if Carson took himself out or if Marvin told him he isnt playing to get better for next week. Quote

If there was ever a day for a breakout game by one Chris Perry, this is it.Yeah, but Cleveland Fecal is 0-3 too, so this was a good chance for an actual win.The more unsettling question is actually "What if Fitz wins?" Quote
HoosierCat Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 The more unsettling question is actually "What if Fitz wins?"Nothing. Chances of a QB controversy in Cincy are less than zero. However, a win today will definitely boost Fitz' fortunes in FA next march. Quote
kingwilly Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 Palmer out.my brain hurts thinking about this.No Watson? No Palmer? Joseph and Jackson out... not so good. This is a tema on the brink.Palmer is being smart. Rest the elbow, no sense risking long term damage it for this franchise or group of stiffs. Quote
kingwilly Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 steady diet of Lewis...this will get ugly. Quote

I certainly hope you're right. I've seen dumber decisions made, though. Quote

GregCook Posted September 29, 2008 Report Posted September 29, 2008 0-3 This season with Carson Palmer.0-1 Without. Its not like the Bengals will be much different whether he plays or not. For certain though, I am grateful that my Sundays are filled with either my daughter's soccer or lacrosse games. I didn't find out about today's game until about 3pm PST while waiting for my daughter to finish lacrosse practice over at UC Berkeley.I'm guessing though that his arm has a serious injury, he's probably done for the year.
