HoosierCat
That's bulls**t. I agree, but the way White was flying around out there, I was thinking during the game that I wouldn't be surprised if the league slapped a fine on him just to send a message to chill a bit. And frankly, White needs to do less hitting and more tackling anyhow. But I'll admit it's music to my ears to hear a player from another team say a hit a Bengal laid on them was "probably the best shot I've ever taken." TJJackson
White doesn't make all that much - the Bengals organization should pay (assuming the appeal is lost) that fine - and thereby earn themselves some points with the players as well"we support aggressive play" should be the message sent - no words, just action

Ickey44
That would be good, but the teams aren't allowed to pay for their players fines. Salary cap rules or some such.

membengal
He doesn't seem like a shy guy. I bet he continues to try and kill the guy with the ball.
derekshank
doesn't shy away from big hits.If isn't afraid to go up and throw his body into Stephen Jackson... a fine isn't going to stop him. His violent style of play is the reason he made it in the NFL. He's not going to shy away from it because of a small fine. It's part of his job. He just needs to watch the use of his helmet and he'll be fine.I'm sure Marvin Lewis is going to thank him though. Even though he took a fine, he sent a message to WR's around the league. If you come across the middle when I'm here - you might not walk off the field. That's exactly what this defense needs.
