Probably not, but stranger things have happened. Just as you've never understood the fascination with Jake Long, I've always been leery of the hype around Chris. I can't help but wonder if he would have still been the consensus No. 1 if his last name was Smith or Jones. I think he'll be a very good player, but I don't see him developing into a super-stud DE.

And at least in the mocks, he is slipping with the news that Jake has the inside track with the Fins. For example, the mockers over at draftace.com currently have him falling to the Jets.
