HoosierCat Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 Just since Pitt is our next game...pics off espn look like Heinz Field is a mess...raining like mad and they just laid a new grass field over the top of the old grass field so nothing is draining...guys out there poking holes in the turf with pitchforks...mud at the 25 yard line to screw up kicks...this has huge injury danger written all over it. HoosierCat Posted November 27, 2007 Author Report Posted November 27, 2007 OMFG look at espn...the field is a swimming pool!EDIT: my wife hit the nail on the head -- Heinz Field tonight looks like a rice paddy! Quote

Riagogogoindanati Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 The field looks sloppy......but looks a tad better than what it looked like on Saturday by the end of the Pitt/USF game. We shall see who blows a knee. (Ok, just kidding) Quote
HoosierCat Posted November 27, 2007 Author Report Posted November 27, 2007 Wow...was Big Jen trying to throw the ball to Porter? There wasn't a Steeler within 15 or 20 yards. Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 I hope Ben keeps up this kind of play when Cincy visits on Sunday! Quote
HoosierCat Posted November 27, 2007 Author Report Posted November 27, 2007 Love that Miami offense. Quote

OK, for all of the Steeler a**h***s, supporters, coaches and extraneous hanger-ons that ever made a comment about how bad our turf was before 2004, your field absolutely sucks. Wow. It's 2007. What a disgrace. Quote
HoosierCat Posted November 27, 2007 Author Report Posted November 27, 2007 OK, for all of the Steeler a**h***s, supporters, coaches and extraneous hanger-ons that ever made a comment about how bad our turf was before 2004, your field absolutely sucks. Ox Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 Did anyone see that football stick like a golf ball in the mud???! Quote
HoosierCat Posted November 27, 2007 Author Report Posted November 27, 2007 Did anyone see that football stick like a golf ball in the mud???!Yup. Every kick has pretty much been like that, they hit and go splat. This game is going to come down to a key turnover, I think. Pick run back for a TD, etc. Neither of these offense can do crap. Quote
jjakq27 Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 Did anyone see that football stick like a golf ball in the mud???!Where is Gale Sayers when you need him?Kinda of ironic how the schedule rotation works. These two played in Miami in 2004 under similar circumstances. I believe it was Benji's first start.http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/04271/386220.stm Quote
HoosierCat Posted November 27, 2007 Author Report Posted November 27, 2007 Is there some reason that Pitt isn't putting like 5 DBs on Booker every pass play? Quote
HoosierCat Posted November 27, 2007 Author Report Posted November 27, 2007 My Gawd this game is the "Dumber and Dumber" of football. Quote
Riagogogoindanati Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 I haven't laughed this much on a monday night...........in quite a while. or said "geez" this much either. "splashes his way left.""Redzone alert.""I'm old, I wasn't even born then."Which should be the commentator quote of the night? Quote
HoosierCat Posted November 27, 2007 Author Report Posted November 27, 2007 Which should be the commentator quote of the night?I like Cornheiser's riposte to Jaws' "this is like a heavyweight fight.""Yeah, a heavyweight fight where the two guys keep missing every swing." Quote
