Dhani Jones is the best linebacker on this team, the lone bright spot from this week's game....it is pretty bad when a guy comes in on the wed. before the game and he is better and more prepared for a game then the guys that spent weeks in training camp and practicing...how bad are we at linebacker?......I hope they start jones the rest of the season with ahmad brooks and rashad jeanty when he comes back

Meh Jones I don't think was that bad for the eagles, but him being our best is the problem.Though Landon I still think would be fine backer if we had pollack and odell back -_-

I think you hit the nail on the head we basically have an entire draft class that doesnt exist now that pollack, odell, and henry; who were day one guys who are not able to contribute to this team due to injuries and legal troubles. That whole class seems to have been star crossed in a big way for the team and this year it is showing.

Yeah, I understand everybody's pissed about yesterday's defeat still. I get that. But, come on, Jones came in and was surprisingly active and made a few plays. It is, no doubt, a testament to him being able to capably fill in. When you're used to seeing whiffs, it's nice to see somebody make some tackles. It's kinda like Ndukwe playing pretty well in a few preseason games, though. One game doesn't make him our best LB. If he comes out next week and can't tackle his shadow, there'll be a little more of a sample size to play with. I just don't think you end up with a savior on the waiver wire. I imagine there will be some warts now that expectations for him are elevated above "just don't give up a td on every play."

I agree he probably not the savior but @ the very least he improves the depth @ lb & hopefully continues to make plays on ST at this point even if he just makes the ST better it's a solid pick up & if he plays his way into the starting lineup it's icing on the cake!

I wouldn't say he's the only bright spot either I've been very impressed with Lamar he made a couple of plays but he was also playing with a groin injury(isn't that the same injury AB has) & showed some toughness by playing with that we need more of that type mentality! Both look like solid pickups

I don't think we're so bad but it's just the same ole song & dance we can't keep players on the field it's pretty sad when you have a waiting list to get into the training room

Any opinions on the play of Schlegel?

Terrible.

It suprises me quite a bit they can't pull the kid from OU who had a good preseason off of the PS. I was impressed with that guy - at least much more so than Schlegel, and he knows the freakin' system.

Start giving some guys a chance for God's sakes. Hell where's Dawson at HB?

If these vets aren't getting it done, get some youth in there and see what they can do, put 'em on ST's, see if the kids can cover kicks - get some hungry guys in there.

I've seen enough of fat, limping, always-injured veterans or draft picks who don't produce on this team. Just tired of watching the same sacks of poo produce the same bad results every year.

Make some changes, geesh. Make more of these guys fear for their jobs. Put Rucker in for Justin (what happened to the plan of Smith playing less this year to keep him fresh? etc...,). I don't care if they're better, they can't be any worse.

Hell bring up the whole PS and put 'em out there for all I care, see if any of them can do something.
