Glenn Holt and Skylar Green are useless

These guys are nothing more than warm bodies who bring nothing to the team. We have the worst set of return men in the NFL.

WTF!?! In case you didn't know, they do more than play on special teams.

They don't do anything. They suck. I know we have had to play them because we have nobody else right now, but they are not good for anything. You are actually saying you think these guys do not suck?

That's right Joe Schlong. Put me on record saying these two players do not suck. There are people within the Bengals organization who do exist within a high negative pressure, but his name is Chuch Bresnahan.

Holt and Green? Shee-it, get real, I can find better targets for suckage tonight.

How about our franchise DE? 1 tackle.

Or Mr. Big Contract Geathers? 1 tackle, 1 assist.

Or Shank-o-matic?

Where were our big-bucks tackles this game?

Rudi? AWOL.

Hell, all you need to know is this: Dhani Jones, the guy we signed less that a week ago had 4 tackles and an assist -- making him the fifth-most effective defender on the field by the stats (and it was a four-way tie for first!).

Holt and Green? Shee-it, just about the whole team sucks at the moment.

I'll pile on by asking....JoeBong, whatcha smokin'?!? I don't know that much about Green, but I remember Holt making some fairly good runbacks in games past. He also had a fantastic game against the Browns as a WR despite the loss. If there's a knock (literally) on him, it's that he needs to learn to get down faster or he's going to end the season in a casket.

I'll amplify something Hoosier said - maybe it's just that my standards for LB play have been beaten down so far as a Bengals fan, but I saw Jones make some pretty nice plays. There was one in particular - a sweep off-tackle to the Seahawks' right - that looked like it was going to be the usual 15 yard run before a safety from the other side finally runs the guy out of bounds. But out of nowhere Jones comes and pretty much jumps over useless defenders to hog-tie the runner to the ground. Been a while since I've seen anyone make a play like *that* in an orange-and-black jersey.

These are the real issues.

- Justin(e) got totally owned by Walter Jones (most DEs he face do)

- Jumpy Jr. - no answers

- practice squad LBs did as expected

- this defense must get healthy and gel quickly or the season will be over before they have a chance

We need Levi and Willie back NOW! Also, are we finding out that the only reason Rudi was any good was that he was running behind Levi, WIllie, Rich Braham, and Steinbach? Maybe Jeremy Irons is more important next year than we originally thought.

In total, how far behind Pittsburgh and Baltimore can we really get and have a viable shot?

Holt and Green are fine! You can't do anything about that hit, it was perfect. The game was already over before the fumble. It was over the second the defense took the field with a 4 pt. lead and about 2-3 mins on the clock. That was the worse position the Bengals could've been in, I knew we would lose the game at that exact moment.

Joe, I say a lot of stupid s**t, but you have to do this kind of stuff just to get a reaction... Really... On the real.. Are you serious?

Holt and Green are reliable backups and are definitely good return men.

SGreen and GHolt are not reason the Bengals lost...GHolt did have a costly fumble at the end of the game but if the D can ever hold a lead we shouldn't need last minute drives all the time...The guy was just trying to run hard and get as many yards as he could for the O...What about are PB WR who keeps dropping balls at the wrong time, or the Franchise DE that has never been to a PB and cant generate a pass rush...or a starting RB that can only find holes you drive a car through...What about oour 3rd WR or our starting LB who are both suspended because of stupid s**t...SGreen and GHolt are doing what they can to help a team that obviously has many other problems than them...

Yeah god forbid the defense hold a lead in the 4th quarter for once.

Shula's right! How much is it to ask for them to do that? Without help from the refs in the Ravens game, they would have blown that lead too!
