combatbengal
Not sure if we'll go 8-8 this year. Before the season started I said that we'd win 10 games but now I’m not so sure. The Def is awful. Can't cover any WR in the NFL. The DC has no idea what he's doing. We have a chance to win a game and he calls a play that allows the WR to get huge yards. Special teams sucks. Can't cover anybody on kick offs or punts. Before the season started I said that we wouldn't beat the Pats in week four and I'm still with that thought process. 1-3. Replace the DC and special teams coach. Start fining guys for mistakes on the field. Miss tackles, miss blocks, fumbles, int's etc. If you take some $$ out of their pockets for poor performance, they may come to play one day. Frustration talking here. I have tons of it myself, but I have to say 8-8 will be the best this defensiveless team will finish. I think it's likely we'll be looking at 3-5 before Henry returns. CJBestInAFC
I get rid of Justin Smith, Rudi, Bobby Williams, John Thorton, Brob, Caleb Miller, and Shayne Graham. I think if these players left next season the Bengals could pick up some decent FA. I think Justin is the biggest waste of money I have seen the Bengals waste in a long time. Justin Smith had one *** damn tackle today. That is pathetic.

Justin Smith hasn't impressed anyone (except his banker) lately, and Bobby Williams has been more talk than production since he's arrived. I loved the attitude he showed up with, but it really hasn't translated into much on the field.
HoTbOy
Get rid of SGraham? If I cleaned house 1/2 the D-Line would be gone, you can't really blame the secondary because they are young (couldve been better if DWeathersby did not get hurt)...The LB's are hurt or suspended( OThurman, DPollack)...We need better backups I guess, but I would also be looking to get rid of coaches also... COB
Yep, I'd fire the strength and conditioning staff and all the medical people. Find someone who can teach these guys to stretch or do pilates or whatever they need to do to avoid all these injuries. We're pulling linebackers off the street and they're playing whole games for us a couple weeks later. Somethings got to change.

GregCook
The story for the 2007 Bengals is injuries, suspensions and free agency. None has been kind. The Bengals have run out of depth now with two cast offs playing linebacker. All we can do is wait for Perry, Henry, Jeanty, Brooks and Kilmer to return. Kazkal
I wouldn't say time to clean house but time for Mikey to open up his pocket book,1.)Fire Chucky B and Hire either a proven top notch Defensive mind or a young guy who can bring fire to our defense2.)Hire a GM and Increase our scouting Department3.)Do something about the medical staff or trainers to help keep our guys healthy4.)This the year we finally draft a Dlinemen High? Also Could use a High round pick on Oline,RB?LB? seems like we have alot of needs next year 5.)Get us a bubble!!!! (joking not worried about this)

Bengals1
I'm surprised SoP hasn't done something about our medical staff myself. I mean, even looking at it through his cheapskate eyes you'd think he'd be concerned they were costing him money with their misdiagnoses. They screwed up Perry's bad ankle and cost him the start of this season. Levi said in training camp that a misdiagnoses by our staff cost him much needed rehabilitation time which is why he wasn't 100% to start the season. Frucker's been injured since we wasted a 3rd round pick on him, we just don't seem to be able to get him healthy enough to play. We're constantly losing guys with bad hamstrings or sore groins (insert your own joke here). It seems like over half our linebacking corp is out with some niggling little injury or another. None of them career threatening but all of them contributing to our poor start. All of this must be costing Mikey boy money, yet we seem to soldier on with the same medical personnel year after year.....
