I am gald both teams remain healthy. What I saw is two teams that have secondary issues. I am a Falcon fan 1st, but the bengals are my second team. I have a feeling that most of the Bengals wins will be high scoring shootouts (sound familiar). Good luck guys. I too pushed the mute button, I am totally over the VIck era. I have developed a pure hate for Tony Kornhole!

Thanks. Hopefully Graham's injury is minor.

If I'm a Falcons fan, I have to like what I saw out of Joey Harrington tonight.

i would get to much hope us for joey just yet the bengals defense seems to make so-so qb's look better than what they are. if any thing it may give him and the falcons a false sense of hope. not taking away anything harrington did to night it just the truth about the bengals defense.

I thought tonight's game was a promising step foward. The first team offense got out of its funk and scored two touchdowns. The starting defense continued to play the run relatively well, outside the 19 yard TD from Norwood. The pass defense still looks like crap, but no worse than it did before. I'll continue to hope that they'll play better with more complex regular season scheming.

The only new concern I take out of this game is Shayne's health. I'd be surprised if he can't go against Baltimore though.

Just tell him we're over the league limit on Johnsons, and he's gotta go!

Funny Bill

Well I had to think of something funny to say while watching him play because I was about to cry. Sure, he had a TD pass to Henry against their 2nd team, but that was hardly fair. Once Chris had the ball, their DB's didn't have a hope in hell of bringing him down. If he can only get it through his thick skull to stay out of trouble, and quit leading the thug life, he will be a truly great receiver in the NFL, and the Bengals will have one of the best receiving trios on one team that the league has ever seen. Marvin sees something in this kid, and I do too. That's why he's stuck his neck so far out for him. HE'S WORTH IT!

It will be my first opportunity to see the Bengals live on TV this preseason, and I'm hoping to see enough improvement on both sides of the ball to make me lose my panic button sig pic.

Well obviously that didn't happen. The defensive performance, and the injury to Graham are the biggest contributors to it at this point. I was pleased to see the 1st teams offense had improved greatly, and most likely will continue to do so with the return of several key players. Small comfort when you realize the defense won't be able to get them the ball often enough.

Well let's hope joey just found the team for him,I still think he was a good QB just happen play for crappy franchise with the wrong offense...

PS, I'm glad they got rid of joey "sunshine" thiesman, but they need kick that midget to the curb. he's so fing annoying. the other 2 are fine, but god I'd kick that guy in the teeth. "Oh you consider Carson a elite QB? what has he won? what has he done? what you don't consider mcnabb a elite top 3 QB" ?

Um what has Mcnabb won?

on bengals.com it sayed if it was a regular season game he might of stayed in their so hopefully he'll be back for the opener

He had a hip-pointer. I don't think he would've been able to play with that, they are painful as hell.

What about TaB Perry? What'd u think? IMHO our #3 spot is still vacant because he ain't gettin it done. Too many dropped balls. That one on 3rd and long was a seed that hit him right in the #'s and he dropped it, almost caught it with his legs, then dropped it again. It just looked bad, I think I'd give someone else a shot next week.

How about Skyler Green at #3 WR? I know they used him mainly as a return guy but atleast the guy can catch balls unlike Tab Perry.

I feel that! What the hell happened to Tab?

I never though I would say this, but I hope the Squirrel gets cut by the Pats. Tab Perry can not catch a freaking 3rd down pass. And can TJ and Carson get on the same page during a blitz for once?

tough night to be a bengal's fan...

Man, it's just tough PERIOD being a Bengals fan....

It could get worse, much worse if the Bengals finish below 8-8. It'll make now seem like a picnic, and Marvin could seriously begin to worry about keeping his job!
