BIGFOOT

Recommended Posts

During my lunchbreak I was nosing at a website run by bigfoot investigators. It's quite a professionally managed site with lots of detail/reports and I was surprised to see to what extent across North America that Bigfoot sightings have been reported.

Now this organisation also runs expeditions, and later this year there will hold one such "stake out" on Vancouver Island. VI stands at 300 miles x 60miles and so is not the biggest expanse of land and surely in such an environment a creature like this would have been seen/found/shot/eaten ... whatever, by now.

Now, apparantly in the USA every State has reported sightings of a Bigfoot with the exception of Hawaii (perhaps the floral garlands chaff). Would such a dense haired creature naturally designed for a Washington State type environment survive in the deserts of New Mexico? Why hasn't a body been found?

So Bengalszone brothers and sisters, do you believe in Bigfoot or not? Have you had any experiences with such a beast? Have you heard a mournful cry in the wee small hours, smelt a pungent odour on the wind, or seen something large and hairy skulking in the woods, (and I don't mean Billybroome on his way home from a drunken poker night).

I see my reputation precedes me... BTW, I do believe there can be many life forms inhabiting this planet that we as humans simply don't see much of.

I would have to agree with Billy...there is definitely a chance there is more out there than we know of, especially out in the vast black nothingness called space.

I think there is more of a chance that aliens exist than that bigfoot still survives. But that is another post for another day.

It's a simple question...If the moon were made of spare ribs, would you eat it? :D

I don't believe in bigfoot, but I'd say there is some wild stuff deep in the ocean we don't know about that would blow everybody's mind.

The only wierd experience I have ever had with an animal was with a fox in the woods. I was deep in a patch of woods along the Big Sandy river when a fox trotted right up to me (about 3 feet away) stared at me for what felt like forever (about 2 minutes), and just walked away casually. I didn't have any food on me, and at first I thought it might have been rabid, but it wasn't aggressive at all. The story might not sound that wierd, but if you know anything about foxes, you'll know that this was extremely wierd.

oh that is it TJ... no porn for you! bad football fan!

so about the fox story... yeah, i can believe that and it is extremely weird as I know foxes are much more people shy than many other beasts.

yeah, anyway, one day i was sitting there out in my backyard in kentucky, and a family of deer walked up near my house, slyly positioning themselves between me and my basement door... not really caring too much about this, knowing that deer are essentially timid, i simply sat there and enjoyed the morning sun and finished off the last of my wake and bake jay.

i persisted this way, that is until my dog turned to me, looked up at me in a queer way and pointblankly, in his kentucky drawl, offered to me, " Can you believe that s**t? Those f**king deer aren`t a bit scared of me!"

The only wierd experience I have ever had with an animal was with a fox in the woods.

Several retorts immediately sprang to mind:

1. But her father found us before we did the deed

2. And the the Animal Rights people chased me out of town

3. I felt guilty but at least it was a female fox

4. And to this very day I still carry the scars!

I've often thought that message boards should have a "Hall of Quotes", and I dare say this one would be fairly high on the Bengalszone list.

I BELEIVE.....BASED ON FACT NOT FICTION NOR HORROR............

THE FIRST AND ONLY TIME I WENT TO PISSBURGH. PUNGENT ODOUR AND ALL. HE WAS SITTING ALL BY HIS LONESOME AT THE END OF THE BAR AT MAX AND ERMA'S WITH A TOMMY MADDOX JERSEY ON. HIS UNKEMPT APPEARANCE AND SMELL OF URINE MADE MY PARENTS AND I WRETCH AT HIS STENCH. WE SAW HIM WALK OUT OF THE RESTAURANT AND HEAD TO THREE RIVERS PARK WHERE HE GENTLY SUNK INTO THE ALLEGHENY. THEN WE SAW THIS BIG SNAKEY THING......NESSY WAS THAT YOU?
