Why all the interest in David Harris. Do we wreally want to spend a 2nd round pick on a LB who won't even be a starter for us? I don't get it.

Because you have 2 LB's that will be unrestricted FA next year, you don't know if Odell will ever be back, and if they sign Hartwell it will be a one year deal. That's why.

Where will he play? He's just not that good. If we draft him we'll be trying to draft his repacement pretty soon in order to upgrade the position. Mediocre LBs are easy to come by.

Mediocre by who's standards? Yours? Most draft boards have him listed as the second best inside LB in the draft. Only behind Patrick Willis.

Harris surprised many with a fantastic 4.53 40 at the combine, and it may have pushed him into the first half of the second round.

Jarrett and Rice going off the board makes me sad. So close.

I don't know if Steve Smith (USC version) is good enough for them to spend a pick here.

If Harris is still on the board, that would be fine. What about Woodley, the DE?

For the Bengals system, Woodley is too slow for OLB, and too small at the point of attack for DE.

I remain in take a WR camp. Jarrett would be lovely for bengals' next pick, or Sydney Rice...

Harris or Charles Johnson

Add Tim Crowder to the mix too. Those are the logical picks.

I'm a Crowder fan. But if they pick him, I wonder if the plan would be to shop Justin Smith.
