rwalling
OK who had Bengals by 15?with KK and Kilmer as the defensive stars?
CBin2k7
I thought I would never see the day when a team gives up a 500 yard passer and wins by
schweinhart
I loved the Kilmer draft pick... but that boggles the mind. I would not have been in favor of him every playing anything but ST's until that play.Yeah, Keiwan out brought Kilmer in on the dime I reckon. Funny it wasn't Indiana Jones or Busing....But like Marv said, Kilmer does things he can't teach.Big win for the Who Dey and about GD time. They'll have to play 10 times better than today to crack 8-8 but at least they got on the right side of the win column. KC wins, Jets lose and Jags are still out there with the Fins, Steelers and Bills coming up from behind.Clowns got to feel like they've made some progress since they had a shot on last play to win. Romeo the Clown is no doubt tired of rubbing his haunches for all the whuppings he's had last 3 years and I suspect the Clowns will come out next week like it's their Super Bowl. HoosierCat
I thought I would never see the day when a team gives up a 500 yard passer and wins by 15Brees' numbers look more impressive than they are. Of that 510, 133 came in what was essentially garbage time: the last 6 minutes of the game after the Bengals went up 31-10.Yeah, that still leaves an impressive 377 yards -- but NO had to throw since the Bengals were successfully stuffing the run. They allowed just 91 yards to Bush and McAllister combined.

Unfortunately I didn't get to see the game, so if they over played the run against Bush and McAllister, I can see why they got shredded for so many yards against the pass. Ox
Just got back from Nashville, and those f*ckers at the sports bar I wa sin were playing every game but The Bengals game. What a crock of sh*t. I just got up and left, finally ofund it on across the street. Anyways, what a game for the turnovers to come back. derekshank
I don't care how you candy-coat it. Who cares if we only allowed 91 rushing yards? We allowed nearly 600 total yards. Yes, we've faced two of the best offenses in the league the last two weeks... but our defense has shown itself to be terribly overmatched against good offenses. (The Saints made 29 1st downs!)It was a good time for the Bengals defense to end their turnover drought. Without those INT's we lose this game. Turnovers are the only way this defense knows how to get a stop (although we were much better on 3rd down today).
Stripes
The defense was terrible today. I'm glad to get the win, but I don't see any way around that.Turnovers are nice, but they won't come at such opportune times very often.
