BengalPimp Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 Well IMHO it's painfully obvious we need a better offensive line, and a defense that's at least capable of beating a Steve "McFair" quality of QB! DUDE...WE'RE MISSING 2 STARTERS...40% OF OUR OFFENSIVE LINE (BRAHAM,JONES) WHAT DO YOU EXPECT?god? are you listening? we need a little miracle herec'mon....go after the ball...... Quote

membengal Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 Soooo tired of catching the wrong bounce on seemingly every ref call this year. Soooo tired. Quote
smith288 Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 Congrats Ravens... Its Christmas one month early Quote
Kazkal Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 wow ravens trying run up the score go them only if they would have loss because of it. Quote
alleycat Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 Well, sportsfans. The NFL yet again shows it's true social conservatism by punishing our "bad boy" players with yet another hose-job by the officials. I'd love to see them say on Wednesday that these calls today were the right ones. It'd be sort of like Bush telling us that staying the course in Iraq is still the right decision. And yes, I do see a parallel. Quote
BengalPimp Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 this is f**king ridiculous i am sick of the same old s**t week after week.UH, where were you in the 90's? we are all frustrated and disappointed, but there was a time when all of us WOULD KILL to be a .500 team Quote
schweinhart Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 Chris Henry could've had that throw with 18 ticks left. Nice catch and all with the 70-yard bomb but where's this clown's head at. The ball was right there for him to go up and get it. Bad loss but good to see the Bengals get 2 cracks at putting together a game-winning drive. The offense still blows too much though. Course another blown call on the no-call pass interference on 4th and 4 didn't help but next time don't get pickled by a 4th down or run it on 3rd if they know they're going for it on 4th.I wouldn't count the Bengals out from the North title yet. They got a brutal sked but they're still getting it together on both sides of the ball and should be able to roll every team they play soon enough. The Ratbirds got a much easier sked and the lead now but I didn't see a team that was very good out there. Thanx to a Chris Perry KR and a Palmer crap pass, Rats fans can count their lucky stars today. Quote

(Read that here). Course Carson had Reggie Kelly wide open over the short middle on the 3rd and 4 from the failed drive before and threw a pick for a TD that Chad had no chance to catch to add to his growing list of crap throws this seasons so the pot probably ought not to call the kettle "Henry".So much for the Carson comeback like 2004. Hopefully this will pull his head the rest of the way out of his a$$. O-line probs or not, the the playcalling has to be better, the reads got to come quicker and the throws have to be a whole lot better whether under pressure or not. Quote

"Bush's fault!"???LOL Grow up.No.It's about someone thinking that for some reason they've been appointed some kind of moral arbiter - and then committing immoral acts in pursuit of what THEY THINK is right. Hell, a lot of it's even probably subconscious. But the parallel comes from this absurd culture that tries to depict the world in terms of black in white - but will happily blur or even erase those lines if they need to in order to be sure that what they've determined to be "good" comes out on top. i.e. Bengals are bad boys, they shouldn't get away with it, right?I'm not sure I've seen a single call go our way this season.
