Ox
http://www.theredzone.org/news/showarticle...?ArticleID=4028Bengals WR Chris Henry arrested for operating a vehicle under the influenceSirius NFL Radio reports that Bengals WR Chris Henry has been arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence (OVI/Ohio DUI). Sergeant Paul Lezotte of the Batavia, OH (Clairmont County) Patrol Post has confirmed Henry was pulled over for speeding and subsequently arrested for OVI after field sobriety tests.AdvertismentAccording to Lezotte, "He was stopped for speeding, 82 in a posted 65 mile per hour zone on the interstate. The officer asked him to perform field sobriety test, a series of field sobriety tests in which he did and then he was subsequently arrested for O-V-I under the officers observations of Mr. Henry."Henry was arrested in January after a police officer allegedly saw him pull a pistol on a group of revelers. Officers found a Luger on the back seat of a limousine and a loaded magazine in a gutter where Henry was standing, according to police reports. He was also arrested on counts of improper exhibition of a firearm and aggravated assault with a firearm, but only charged with carrying a concealed weapon.-----------------------What the FU*K??? What is wrong with this knucklehead. Sirius was talking about this all morning. I feel like jumping off my house.

HoosierCat
I have to admit, all I can do at this point is laugh. It appears that they just don't come any stupider than Chris Henry...and lucky us, he's all ours.
Spor_tees
On a serious note, after his first arrest when everyone said it was a young kid making a stupid mistake, I said he was nothing but a bomb waiting to explode...another reggie Rembert...after the second arrest everyone said, "You don't know what really happenned, he is innocent until proven guilty..." Now a third arrest and this time he wasn't with his homies, what was this? So who is questioning Marvin for drafting 2 WR's in the draft this year now? walshfan
Clermont County municipal court tickets..Saw Chris Henry's name for speeding/duiappears in court 6-9-06Nothing more to say about this guy that hasnt been said.
HoosierCat
I'll tell you, tho, what I am disappointed in is that it's 11 a.m. and Florio over at PFT *still* hasn't gotten around to using the arrest to bash the Bengals and Marvin Lewis! Hey Mikey, what's up with that?!?! Lotsa muck to rake here, you're sleeping on the job! Let me see if I can help...what would Mikey Florio say...?Oh...yeah...BUNGLES TURD WIDE RECEIVER BUSTED AGAINCincinnati Bengals WR Chris Henry was arrested yet again last night for speeding and driving unsder the influence. This marks Henry's fifth run-in with the law in the past 12 months, including a pending gun charge in Florida.League sources express amazement that Henry is still a Bengal. Said one, "Wow, Marvin lewis is really a f**king idiot, huh? He never should have drafted this turd in the first place and now he won't get rid of him. And look at all the other turds on the team. And in the front office. And their fans. Turds Lewis moron idiots losers haha Carson's knee turds turds turds PITTSBURGH RULES HAHAHAHA CINCY SUCKS HAHAHAH."...or something like that

Spor_tees
Maybe when he gets caught with a "Whizinator" the Bengals will finally cut him!
HoosierCat
I have to think Reggie McNeal and Benny Brazell are smiling on this one.I'm sure. But the guy who's really doing a jig this a.m. is Kwash. He was dead and buried at the end of last year, so far out of the WR picture that he wasn't even active for the playoff game against Pitt. Spent all of FA looking for a deal, and the Bengals had him walking around all draft weekend wearing a "for sale" sign.I think you can pitch all that out the window now. Henry is trying his damndest to get cut, and one ding to Chad or TJ, and suddenly our great WR corps goes poof.Welcome, back, squirrel-boy
cincy9275
what a jackass boy these guys just don't get it . any way i am content with k-wash chattman and tab as our 3,4,5 guys . as much as i don't like they way k-wash acts when he has a good play but that is nothing compared to jackass henry

Stripes
This sucks. Why does our Randy Moss-in-the-making have to be such a complete D-bag? Good riddance, Henry, if you won't be sticking around.

Scottishbengal
Not knowing much at all about this guy and never having seen anything of him in college football from over here there are some questions to be asked:- 1. What affect is his personality going to have in the locker room2. Is his temperament changeable - can he toe the line?3. Is his talent/potential worth the investment in trying to get him to toe the line?4. Are there equal/better players available that would give the same return for the same/less investment? No doubt all the above were considered by the Bengals before they drafted him although to some degree his "character" may not have been fully known at that particular time. Again I say I know little to nothing about this guy but I do feel uneasy having this sort of attitude/character connected with the team. In Marvin We Trust? Well, perhaps the courts may have some imput on whether or not he hangs around for much longer.
ShulaSteakhouse
http://www.clermontclerk.org/pa/munipa.urd...se_sum?68417341 Suspend him for a year now and let him try to get his life back together, or just let him go. He may never change and will always be a risk. He obviously needs a court ordered, inpatient rehab clinic and some pokey time, and a year away from football and bad influences, at least. Funny as I remember him getting patted on the back and talked to in one of those training camp videos by Mike Brown, as Henry watched from the sidelines in street clothes, just a few weeks ago. He obviously had the support/well wishes of management and the team, but you wonder now.I think you simply have to cut Henry and AJ and make a statement, own up to it, and move on, whenever those moves are appropriate pending any legal issues. With Palmer's uncertain situation, you need to get rid of the black cloud and distractions elsewhere. GregCook
I'd put Henry in a different category than AJ. For one Henry is going to be suspended by the NFL for this lastest proof the guy is out of control. Second, once he goes to trial on the gun charge, he'll probably end up with another suspension for this season or next. Also the local DA in Florida will be even less inclined to cut a deal now that he has got into further trouble. Why do probation when the guy can't stay out of jail? This guy will probably be cut as soon as the Bengals can figure how to do. AJ has been accused by another guy, himself with character issues, so I won't jump the gun and marry him to Chris Henry(just yet). I've had roommates before when things got ugly for various reasons, this may be more about roommate bitch'n then real crime. Time will tell. HoosierCat
Lenny @ espn.com has picked it up, so has the Enquirer, and even Geoff now...but still nothing from gossipmeister Florio over at PFT! I am so ver disappointed. How could he pass up a chance to bash his favorite target? I mean, even now PFT has a snarky Nicholson pic atop its rumormill. But AJ is *so* Saturday; time to get on to Sunday's Bengals-bashing news, Mike! C'mon, you're missing your chance to yet again use your favorite word -- turd -- six times in a 6-sentence story! Let's go!
Vulture
What a complete moron...get rid of him ASAPAs for PFT who cares maybe we need to be blasted for having this moron on our team...how many times does he have to embarrass us before we wise up????
