Yes mem, I am aware of who we have doesnt change my response
-
well, I was......and that sux I mean, we dont need to cover any TEs this coming season, right?
-
Its ok. we disagree. Happens all the time. we both shall live through this :-) Have terms been disclosed yet?
-
dont like this move even if he is on vetmin and nothing else. even less so if he gets more than that. but the timing with Allen's signing suggests they waited for Allen til the last moment and this guy was their second choice
-
well that certainly sucks

niiiiiiiiicccccccceeeeee

Most players dont need to be told that part, but clearly Mr Carman does
-
Ill keep my bet on Adeniji as the game 1 starter, but yeah, it make sense to use the offseason time to see if Carman has any value If I didnt dislike the scumbag so much, I would pity Carman a little for being asked to change jobs 4 times in 3 years. Hard to do well for an employer when the goalposts keep moving

COB would need to take us all (plus special guest: Vijay Singh) out to Arbys in Kent for a lavish and sumptuous dinner - deluxe with jamocha shakes and all - and also share his black book of gutter cleaning contractors and their contact numbers. Arbys will be required to bring back potato cakes and the italian sub specifically for this event we'd have to severely limit any funds goin to Army because of his well known "hookers and blow" plan, which near as I can tell his wife and kids havent bought in on

My money, fwiw which aint much, says that Adeniji (unless injured) will be the starter at ORT in game 1 If Adeniji is injured, it'll be the new guy from Buffalo I dont see Jonah being with this team by the time the season starts. Some playoff aspiring team will lose their OLT and will trade for him

Round 6 (206): Andrei Iosivas, WR Princeton
TJJackson replied to HoosierCat's topic in Cincinnati Bengals
I didnt say fat I said muscle whatever dude.......this is speculation, nothing more. I dont expect the Bengals TE coach to hold a press conference to introduce me and Army as new offensive assistants -
Round 6 (206): Andrei Iosivas, WR Princeton

yep, and they still need at least 2 more TEs if Irv is a healthy guy, but since he generally isnt, they need 3 more -
Round 6 (206): Andrei Iosivas, WR Princeton
TJJackson replied to HoosierCat's topic in Cincinnati Bengals
because theres a good chance he cant/wont make this team as a WR, but maybe just maybe he could be a productive TE As i said, I am not generally a fan of trying to turn an x into a y but if one speculates that he wont make it as WR, why not try him as a TE, where there is a MUCH bigger roster hole? I get that you personally think he makes it as a WR I dont Theres the difference that makes this a "why not try it?" type of thing a real possibility for me, and for Army -
Round 6 (206): Andrei Iosivas, WR Princeton

Im not a fan of picking a player who is an x and trying to make him a y ...but... this one at least kinda sorta makes sense for a low draft pick without much of a shot at making the team except.... he'd have to add quite a bit of muscle mass. Like 30 pounds, absolute bare freakin minimum. He lists as 205 right now. But......I suppose it would not hurt at all to see what he can do there over the course of the offseason. Such a transformation might indeed be his best chance to make the team -
Ive already commented elsewhere that I am excited about this UDCFA OL got no drafted OLs to be excited about I think Bleacher Report has his hand and arm measurements backwards, though 33 inch hands on 10 inch arms.......thinking TRex here :-)

Round 6 (217): Brad Robbins, P Michigan
TJJackson replied to HoosierCat's topic in Cincinnati Bengals
He looks like he is in his late 30's, and the stache could give The Nuge a run for his money -

I cant get over how much this guy looks like the German sergeant in the first Indiana Jones movie who gets skilled by the airplane propeller -
Round 3 (95): Jordan Battle, S Alabama

rwalling! been a while! welcome back sir! -
another way to look at this, Joisey, is that they are due (very overdue) for a win here :-) albeit I like Volsen a LOT

Are any of the UDCFAs a TE?
-
I really like what I am reading about this UDCFA https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Jaxson-Kirkland-OL-Washington especially: 'One of best pass blockers in college football - a technician who gives up very few sacks' I will be rooting hard for this guy. We need pass blockers bigtime and yeah, I know he is about 2 years older than the average rookie
-
ah, we do sorta kinda see eye to eye on occasion While fully realizing that the occasional late round pick becomes a superstar (yes, Mr Brady, I am talking about you) I look at late rounders for the most part as players you hope can develop into starters 2-3 years down the line when your current starters depart or decline, and in the meantime can play special teams and give you occasional snaps when injuries happen We'll need a new IOL or two in the coming years, so why not develop those guys now that sort of thing

I give the overall draft a solid B. There were picks I loved and picks I hated One corner and one WR was enough, tho......they needed to spread the wealth around better, imo I think they could have done a lot better in the later rounds, though taking the Punter was excellent If the Bama safety turns out to be a contributor, this draft looks a LOT better Overall, I hated this draft a lot less than the ones in the last 4-5 years I am praying we pick up at least one good UDCFA ORT and TE
